Well I had vacation days to use so I took off tomorrow and the 28th. If history is any guide that almost guarantees a 21st launch.

I guess I'll actually get some work done tomorrow on my day off. Its the least I can do to make up for the lack of work I got done these last few weeks.

I have a corporate discount... just to see how it worked, I went through the steps of pre-ordering a RAZR and my discount didn't apply for the pre-order. Once the RAZR was released, I could go through the steps and the discount was there.

So, I am going to be release + 1 day. I have to wait until it's actually available, then order. My work schedule is also up in the air for next week. I am supposed to be off all week, but, may end up working to get a project out, so, on Monday, I'll know if I am working on Tuesday, but, any later and I won't know if I am working the next day until around 6:00 p.m., too late to pick a destination for my overnight delivery.

Anyone ever tried to apply a corporate discount in store? FWIW, the RAZR and ReZound are listed at $249 with the discount, I expect the GN to be the same. I am coming over from AT&T (and an iPhone), so, no account that already reflects the discount.

I noticed that if you put in your corporate email on the verizon discount website, they send you an email and allow you to sign up (and start service) through that link. That's most likely the route that I will use.

All such beautiful pups! Since I encouraged all the rescue dog talk, I should probably post a picture of my new girls too... But Im on mobile so it will have to wait another day.

On topic - I hope we get some news tomorrow!! Disappointing I won't have my new Gnex in hand since class got cancelled and if its the 21st I have a major exam... I feel like its really hard to speculate what a 'soft launch' will entail, what VZW is thinking, and how/why things have continued to shift. I feel like we are in unprecedented territory and none of the 'rules' apply - this is a new sort of phone because its a hybrid mass market and techie toy! Which is totally perfect for me!

Week of the 21st would be good for me. My next business trip will probably be 11/27 - 12/2, and it'd really be nice to have my new Nexus to play with the whole time. (That, and finally getting to upgrade from the workable-but-clunky WinMo Google Maps version to the nice and shiny Android version.)

That's what I'm wondering as well. I think she is assuming Monday, and that what was actually said is "week of the 21st".

Thanks. I've been eligible to upgrade since last January and I've been holding out for the perfect phone. I was all set to get the Galaxy S II but then Verizon didn't carry it. Can't wait for the nexus, I've waited this long I guess I can do a few more days.
