Daughter has to be at school @8:30. So I had to make sure I was first in line so I could get everything done and get her to school on time.
 
Have to say the first time I actually enjoyed a pop up ad on this site was the one this morning of a big beautiful Nexus with a VZW logo. I immediately jumped on their site and saw the ad up front.
So excited. It's definitely been a ton of fun being part of this thread. I really look forward to joining you guys and gals in the future!

And yep, I'll be at RadioShack at 9am eastern for open!

i drove by mine an hour after close last night and they hadnt put anything up, guess they must put it up in the morning

Zero advertising here also. And I thought I was nuts by 2hrsher early.
 
I signed up for both the Samsung and Verizon emails way back when and I haven't gotten an email from either. As long as I get my phone I don't care if they shun me :p
 
It feels so good pulling up Verizon's page and seeing our precious on the front page.

One more hour and I'll be taking off to get mine. They told me they'd be holding one, so I shouldn't have to worry about a line. Although it's in a BJ's, and they said they never get a rush there anyway.

Been here since 5:45. Still alone. Manager just arrived. No advertising, no nexus out.

***EDIT - The TV has a nexus promo....only sign of it anywhere.
 
I got an email from VZW about the Nexus at 0130.

But I have to work today, no stores nearby, either. So I am rolling the dice and heading to a big corporate store on the way home. They would not hold one for me last night, but suggested calling an hour after opening to gauge how fast they were going.
 
Sorry to ask guys because I'm sure it's been asked, but has anyone successfully had the $100 that was noted to their account applied by calling in?

Surprisingly, I got an email at 1:13am. I didn't even put my email in the Nexus page. I put my email in during the DInc launch... :rolleyes:
 
went by more store on the way to work and no nothing up...hoping they are coming in early to set up...either way i will be there at 8:15 to start the wait. hope you all get one asap, and good luck

I actually was about to give in to the $$ and order it from letstalk, but right when I did, I saw that somewhere along the way it went from $229 before $75VZN to $289 for my order.

I agree that it's probably based on the plan you have (in this case, it's the smallest family plan you can get) and even though we were adding a line, that bumped the price up a ton. For $155 vs. $249 it was a hard choice. For $215 vs. $249, it's pretty easy. Of course that price is assuming I can get my $50 corporate discount at the store, which my CSR told me earlier that I could, but like I said, I apparently got the most incompetent ones they have... :rolleyes: At the very least I've got a $30 loyalty discount. Gonna try using both...
 
Hi fellow nexus fans!!!

I preordered a Nexus at a indirect verizon store last friday and they said the purchase order for their phones was made on 12/06, but as of yesterday didnt have them in at all according to them. Is there a good chance they come in today if they arent already there? Have you heard of a premium retailer not getting new phone on same day as release as corporate stores. Thanks for all the input I can get, so I can make up my mind about what to do cause I paid the whole price of 300.00 plus tax when i preordered. They are trying to tell me that they cant refund it, but never stated that during transaction. Closest corporate store is about hour away, so thats why i went this route to begin with.
 
Got to my store at 7:30 and was the only one here until I saw another car park. It's usually a pretty busy store but guess this phone will never have the same hubbub as the fruit phone. Fine with me!
