What this seems to indicate is that it is coming with vanilla ICS to Verizon. It doesn't say anything about the hardware. He also is saying that we don't get more information until he hits 9k followers and until @teamandirc follows him again.

(I'm not saying anything judgmental out loud, but boy am I thinking it! :p)

TeamAndIRC probably stopped following him because ever since he got pissed at the Nexus Prime "not" on Verizon, he ignored everybody and spent all his time raving about the Bionic.

I really could care less what P3Droid has to say at this point. We're less than 2 weeks away from finding out! I'm actually excited for the first time in a month regarding this phone. I don't think we'll be disappointed.
 
For what it's worth, someone asked P3Droid:

I guess I do slightly care about what P3Droid says. Just hate the I'm-not-posting-any-more-til-I-get-what-I-want tantrum.
 
I am still worried we have not seen anything go through FCC yet. When that happens then I will believe that the phone is on schedule for an early November release. But If it does come with those specs and plain vanilla ice cream sandwich I will own this phone as soon as the key unlocks the door the morning my local VZN store opens....
 
I'll only be worried if I don't see anything in the FCC by October 15. It will be at least 30 days before release. So hopefully we'll see something before the October 11 announcement.
 
I will get there at 6am to be sure I am first in line!!!!!

Black_Man_X is supposedly asking for donations to a charity in exchange for pics of the Nexus Device.

I can't tell first hand though, because the little weasel locked down his tweets so that only followers can see them.
 
Would the FCC info have to be out? I remember an article saying apple requests that type of stuff to be on the dl until release date. If Samsung is aiming for the same sort of secrecy around this device, could they ask the FCC to keep a filing under wraps until the official announcement?

I don't think that's true.
Verizon's iPhone 4 got FCC approval info almost a month before release.
iPhone 4 with CDMA for Verizon gets FCC approval, right on time -- Engadget

I also guess I just don't want to believe that it could be passed through FCC unnoticed. We started speculating about that with Verizon's SGSII and were sorely pissed off at the end.
 
relating to the Poem it made total sense to me.

relating to his comments of not putting out leaks. He has now changed that to 10k. Oh well its just a phone. We'll know more soon enough.

my thoughts are that the N___ P___ are coming soon to Big Red, It will have ICS with TW on top of it possibly but it will come with the keys to the ride. ...and you know what. I'M TOTALLY FINE WITH THAT.
 
IF this is an official announcement of a Nexus device then we should be seeing some kind of leaks before October 11th. Phones rarely make it to the official announcement without big leaks.

I have a feeling that it will be ICS with no touchwiz on top (I can't imagine Google will allow the first helping of ICS to be hidden from view by Sammy's UI), but bloated up like Nancy Grace struggling to keep her dress on while Dancing with the Stars, and a locked bootloader.

I don't think Verizon cares what UI is running, as long as it's locked down.

I may not be very good at reading these poems but I take that to mean it will be unlocked.
 
That's how I read it, too.

Sammy - to my knowledge - has NEVER locked their bootloader. I highly doubt that they're gonna do it for this one, being the ICS flagship and all. If it IS locked, I shall be quite disappointed... but will buy it nonetheless.

Could it also mean that it might not have ICS at release but will be ICS "ready?" just thinking out loud

With Google and Sammy being together for the announcement I am sure the nexus flagship device will have ICS and be unlocked and I also think its going to have the SoC 4212
 
Silly people. Don't you know anything? Keys to the ride means you get keys to a free Mazurati. :p
 
Can someone post the whole poem as it stands now? I think my twitter thing is behind (it has happened before) and I don't see anything about keys or ICS.

pretty sure the poem said nothing about keys to the ride or ICS...in those exact words but that is what i took from it.
