Read the remainder of this post knowing that I am tired and feeling sort of random:

It should be H. Olo, not H. Lo. And, as soon as I thought of H. Olo, I thought of saying H Olo to this tune:

RICOLA - YouTube

So...What is more satisfying: saying H. Lo or saying H. Olo to a ridiculous theme sound thing?

-Nkk
I vote: AYYYYCH OLOOOOOOOoooooo
If only I had a goat or a big horn.

I believe he said no more playing cruel jokes. I don't recall anything about not picking on Hans Olo / H.Lo

:p

OK. I missed a part of this.

So you're going from Hans Olo. But did you just call him Hanso Lo?

Gee - I dunno Han. I think H.Lo is way better than Hanso Lo.

I think people are just practicing imitation, the sincerest form of flattery, with your name.

Indeed I lolled at that for real.. Bravo!

Qft and great justice.

Well I'm sure that this phone and ICS will be an upgrade for everybody, but I thought I'd see a huge difference from other lagging android devices, and to be honest, there is a difference, but it's still not where it's suppose to be. Ans they said with the Hardware accelerated UI this would all be fixed. .from the videos I've watched it doesn't seem to be.

Here's a novel idea...wait til you use it yourself instead of freaking out about something no one else is.

1. How many phones have a higher res and are either out now or by the end of the year? iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, Samsung Note, Galaxy Nexus, HTC Vigor, Galaxy SII LTE HD, and LG Optimus LTE HD. Every OEM has an HD flagship phone this year... except Moto with their qHD.

2. It isnt about exchanging information with other phones. NFC does a lot more then that. Not having NFC in their flagship phone this holiday season is just another minus in a long list of minuses for this phone.

3. Ok 90% is gone. That still leaves 10% (still eww) and still on gingerbread.

4. A lot. Go ask XDA.

1. Just a few devices in the sea of Android phones. I doubt Razr is supposed to be Moto's flagship.

2. Still not many services are offered via NFC, at least for another year it is going to be just a gimmick.

3. Neither GB nor the 10% that I leave (because I like and could remove it otherwise) bothers me.

4. Been at XDA since 2007 and that does not mean I flash ROMs once a week.

If you like the Razr (aka the Bionic Slim) thats fine with me. Just go talk about it over on the Razr forums. Its not something that can be compared with the Nexus.

I just replied to someone else's post. As for comparison, it seems you are wrong as at the moment loads of people are comparing these two.

The Cloud: I hope Nexus/Verizon brings the 32GB. I am disappointed that there is no SD card to increase storage or a bigger initial drive. I am very suspicious of the "cloud". While it seems like a good deal for people with unlimited data, wait a while. When things start getting really busy with high downloads from the cloud, the carriers will give you a choice of data plans, AFTER they stop unlimited data, which I think they will.

Well, I think I'm gonna start a new thread about this since a lot of people probably missed this, but earlier, we were having a discussion about USB hosting and we found that, with the right $5 adapter, you can plug any USB storage device into the micro USB port and use it as storage space, thereby removing any need for the cloud for those that don't want to eat up their data. It's not as nice as a built-in SD card slot by any means, but it's not too inconvenient, since you could just carry around an SD card reader or a thumb drive in your pocket and keep all your media on there. It's worth considering.

Hey guys,
First time posting on here! Been reading this thread for a few weeks now and I think I might have a few heart problems now--of course, till this past Friday and they announced the Galaxy Nexus coming to VZW!! :D

I don't know if anyone posted that they a got a reply from VZW after P3Droid tweeted about emailing them, but I did get a reply from the VP of Customer Service. Thought I'd share.

Dear xxxx - Thank you for being a customer of Verizon Wireless. You may already be aware that we announced yesterday that the Galaxy Nexus will be available exclusively for Verizon Wireless later this year. The device will be available at our Verizon Wireless Communications Stores and online at Cell Phones - Smartphones: Cell Phone Service, Accessories - Verizon Wireless . I recommend you monitor our website for more information regarding the release date.
We’re very excited about this device and the new Ice Cream Sandwich OS. Thanks again for being a customer of Verizon Wireless.

Also AcousticRx, so it is a Verizon exclusive?[/QUOTE]

Looks like it huh? All the signs seems to point that way, but I can't imagine that it would be a long period of time before others get it. And I personally wondered if they could possibly brand it under Droid, but that looks doubtful too from the email.

Yea, I figured it was a template since the rumor from Steven58's source was that they got about 4,500 emails on Friday. Didn't expect to get a personal reply :)

Looks like it's gonna be a great day, Gnexers!

If this phone DOES come out with 32GB memory, we are so hooked up it's almost ridiculous! ICS, HD screen, NFC, all that memory with 1080P video capture. And if this phone is as awesome as we all think it's gonna be, there should be no reason at all to root & ROM it!

All this and the Orionid meteor shower this morning? Not a bad Sunday to wake up to, if I do say so myself... :)
