If Verizon was really that concerned about the bloatware, they never would have agreed to sell the GNex.But it defeats your entire argument. The main thing VZW cares about is the service plan, and it's in their interest to push whatever phone secures that plan and also brings in bloatware revenue. That means RAZR or Rezound and not GNex.
Seriously, why agree to sell something you have no intention of selling. Makes zero sense.
Secondly, I have it on good authority that the ones who get paid for 3rd party bloatware are the manufacturers......NOT Verizon. I don't know if that's true, but I do trust the channel that came from. If so, then there is no reason to push one phone over another.
And lastly, the iPhone has no bloatware, and gets marketed and pushed quite heavily.
I'm pretty sure my position has been restored.
