Why not go and read the rest of what he has to say, then decide.New mode? He's probably just screwing with everyone.
What's all this nonsense about a screensaver?
Wouldn't you just shut the screen off? It's not a laptop.
P3Droid on twitter...
"OH SHIT...now it has a new mode, you are just going to have to see this cool shit ...I don't think i will be able to describe it accurately"
posted later...
"hmm, i guess the best way to describe it would be a new screensaver for the device.."
Who is PUMPED?!?!?!?
Don't believe P3Droid!
He doesn't have 4.1.0. That's a major OS revision and it would have been pushed to AOSP/documentation would be updated. Google hasn't said anything about it, no one else has said anything about it, that supposed "screensaver" he posted is just the Clock app (there's a night mode)...
Please, PLEASE don't fall for it. I would hate to see all you guys disappointed.
Yep, still have my Dinc too. Did you ever Black it out?
I got married later than most my friends and we are coming up on 20 yrs next year. I think you did it right! It's a lot of work - but it's worth it.
Peace.
Except the LTE version, codenamed Toro, isn't in the AOSP yet. It will be upon release, but the only device that is in there now is Maguro, which is the GSM version, and since they don't have 4.1 (yet) you wouldn't see it in the AOSP anyway.
It is very possible he got 4.1

4.x would be a major OS update, not just a bugfix or a new feature thing. Remember Gingerbread? 2.3.4 was the update that added video chat capability to Google Talk, not 2.4.
4.1 won't just have a "screensaver" (which is just the night clock judging by his picture) and new radios...

FINALLY! Someone believes me.
It really frustrates me how people choose to believe P3. He has no proof to back up his claims and he refused to at least get a screenshot (which is SO EASY TO DO on ICS!)...
I wonder why people believe him when he doesn't even have any proof lol?
Alright, but, how do you know something else isn't in 4.1? You haven't seen it, and just because P3 hasn't reported on it doesn't mean it is not there...
Look, I'm just as suspicious about what P3 says as anyone else is, but he wasn't lying when he said he got 4.0.1 and 4.0.2, and the new radio update. Why would he all of a sudden pull a stunt? IMO, it doesn't warrant you hooting and hollering at everyone here in big fonts telling people not to believe him and that he is lying. Especially when you had no idea that the AOSP build of ICS that is publicly posted is only for the GSM model, but used that as your basis of saying he is lying.
Just calm down dude, you don't have to get this excited/upset over it.
