Ah, Snowboarding Forum. Another place I lurk that I should really come out and play at. Android Forum has been a great experience, I don't know why I should hide there anymore either. I'm assuming you use the same avatar at each place and finding you wasn't too hard?

God I hope they are farming out their late night online CS. That's just a horrible jumble for any professional response.
 
Since Radio Shack and Costco, etc. have supposedly received shipments. How long do you think Verizon would make them sit on inventory? I just can't imagine it would be very long. Trying my best to be optimistic but it is getting pretty difficult.
 
The next time some one chats online with a CSR, how about asking something a bit different:

"Is verizon still going to carry the nexus?"

Don't ask when or where, just ask if they are going to carry the device.

Or, something else:
"How come verizon is not talking about the device?"

:)
 
So hello, I'm back...and based on what I just read of Drexledragon's post fishing for a release date...nothing has changed since this afternoon. Harsh rep, btw..."keep on hoping" wow, what kind of answer is that!!
Edit: i didn't get to read the rest. I guess he was kind of a funny guy afterall!

Wow, that guy is the MAN. I am sitting here, in my room by myself at 12:15 AM laughing out loud to myself after reading that. Thanks man, that was great.
 
Basically at this point I have given up hope on the Nexus being released by the end of this year. There is obviously a major issue or they would not have gone through such drastic steps to pull back the planned release date just days before, after phones had already shipped and customers had been contacted to set up appointments to order the phone.

There must be some pretty big snag on Verizon's part that has had them push this thing back indefinitely. I mean, they didn't even change it to Dec 12, Dec 15....NOTHING. We may not see this thing until January. Who the hell knows at this point. Verizon is ridiculous. Dammit, even the Canadians have it before we do!

The OP was on testman when the chat window popped. It was probably some developer playing around and not real CS.

I think they're wrong. The Canadian version uses data on everything BUT LTE. Here are the specs:

Well lets look on the bright side of this mess. There is only 3 weeks left until 2012. So if the rumor is true it will be here before the end of the year.:rolleyes:
