God, thank goodness my kids are making their xmas gifts for their parents (calendars with personalized drawings) today during school, so I can essentially keep passing by my desk to hit F5 and see what's up. Believe it or not, if done right, it takes nearly a while.

Otherwise, I've accomplished nearly nothing today, haha. :)

Here's the back of the coupon i received. The two locations that are mentioned on it are in fact at a BJ's so im assuming, just a guess, that an express center is located within BJ's only.

Atrain, you sound like a very good Daddy. My daughter is 2 1/2 yo and I can't wait to do these Daddy Daughter type events with her. It actually brought a tear to my eye thinking of the opportunity you have to impact her so greatly with that dance. Treasure it, because she always will.

Also if you get a chance to see the movie Courageous, I highly recommend it for any father. Just bring a tissue, you'll need it.

Let me preface this by saying I love you all and mean no disrespect.
And I will not give up.
BUT I think we have acknowledged how sad we've become. Most of us admit to checking in from places we never thought we would (concerts, bars, planes!). I can say I've only had 2 instances of an extended time out. Lol.
We are now going to wait for this phone if it kills us....

Who's with me??!!!
 
Maybe Verizon is holding back the Nexus until -through free word-of-mouth advertising - Gnexer demand is at a fever pitch?

News Flash, Verizon: we're at it! Sell the doggone thing already before you start LOSING people! :mad:
 
I'm going to enjoy me weekend with the family and try to not obsess over this awesome phone. I have faith that it will be here Thursday if not before.

For some reason after owning it for just a 1/2 hour...I have more of a peace about it, I have held it I know it's real it's coming in a few days. Let's get crazy excited about it Monday as there will be more substantial leaks next week.


16 days until Christmas...:D
 
Maybe to throw everyone off VZW is leaking/sending out the 15th to everyone and they are going to throw a curve ball and send out a PR late today saying it's launching tomorrow... that would be awesome.. Probably not but who knows!
 
So does anyone think that we have a shot at a weekend release? I know it's a pipe dream but I'm just hoping.

I'm returning my Bionic tonight because it sucks, constantly dropping 4G and lagging.
 
Verizon is making enemies that even a really great phone will not overcome. But then they don't care because they don't have to. We need a system where we can buy the phones direct from the manufacturer and use them on whatever system we choose.

Yeah, I asked since it had my name on it could I come by and take a lookie loo. He told me he couldn't even open it until corporate gave the ok to sell it. This will be a RS corp call, not sure if they will authorize the sale before vzw, but certainly not after.

But did you reserve the phone anyway?

Thank you very much. I will certainly look into that film and I WILL need a tissue as I am the most sensitive, BIGGEST BABY on the planet. My wife jokes that I am more of a woman than she is at times. I'm not certain why I am the way I am...could be genetic, could be I was essentially raised by my sisters after my mom passed when I was seven and dad had to work like a slave...for crying out loud I even do a "typically women's job" as a first grade teacher, haha. I can tell you this and I'm not afraid to say it and receive the "not manly" backlash, but I've learned the value of life, the sorrow of loss and treasure EVERY SECOND with my daughter and already tear up thinking of her being any older than she is. Thank you all for your kind words and we'll have a blast tonight!

Sorry to be so off topic.
