Wow. I should have contacted Seidio to work out a commission thing if I knew so many people would go get it! :D

It really does change the phone though. It makes it truly the best phone on the market because you get all the power and decent battery life. No more compromises.

Hello, I was just wondering if any of you know where I could purchase an armband case for my HTC incredible? I would like to use some of the new running apps but I want an armband for it!

I would like to still be able to access and view the touch screen while it's on my arm!

My 2cents. I know diddly about cellphone batteries but what I've noticed since I received today. The seido is bigger. But just marginally. I noticed the stock battery would just drop into the battery compartment, but the seido needs to placed in just right as the fit is very snug. You don't need to force it though. Second, its noticeably heavier. Not blackberry weight but it does make the inc feel noticeably heavier. So making a guess, and this is only a guess. It's possible that they simply maximized the amount of space and put in more material. I know there's doubts about how can you make a better battery that's the same size and get more juice. Now I know this is apples and oranges but the optima battery that replaced the stocker in my trick is at least 20 percent smaller yet packs a help of a lot more juice. Secondly people are saying HTC would never put in an inferior battery in their phones. True, but let's talk margins. Maybe that little bit of extra capacity would have have cost them .03 cents per unit. Verizon obviously wanted to hit a certain pricepoint and HTC as well so make sacrifices where they can. Rather then skimp on the hardware, sacrifice the run time and offer an optional extended battery. It also makes a case for pushing the extended for battery for heavy power users. Cha-ching.

So far an hour of heavy internet use, no WiFi , no bluetooth, no gps, animated wallpaper and that fancy HTC weather widget on. 50 percent left.

If you compare the Touch Pro extended battery to the one recommended for the Eris/Incredible, on Amazon the product dimensions are different.

HTC Touch Pro Dimensions: 2.6 x 1.7 x 0.2 inches ; 10.7 ounces

HTC Droid Eris/Droid Incredible Dimensions: 1.8 x 1.8 x 0.3 inches ; 10.7 ounces

so it looks like they are a different size

are they going to make higher mah batteries in the same OEM battery size? or is the 1750mah the maximum for the original size?

i don't want my phone any bigger than it is.

Yep. fits perfectly...if you look at the dimensions...our phone is SLIGHTLY thinner and SLIGHTLY taller.

I put it in my friends and no issues. Of course he wasn't giving me his

Yea I've had the Nexus One sleeve since the 30th. Luckily got it from HTC the day after I got the phone. It's very nice, and good quality. The Incredible fits perfectly in it, since it is damn near the exact same dimensions as the N1. It fits just snug enough that it can't slip out. Perfect for those of you who want protection for it in your pocket, but don't want it covered by anything when its out and your using it.

It's nice and low profile to, so doesn't cause any more bulk in your pocket.

Pic above with the phone and case sitting on the box is mine, and yes I might look into moving or ripping off those tags. They are annoying. :)

See here for those that question the size difference....there is none and the back cover fits just as it does with the OEM battery :-)

Can you post a picture with the cover closed using the 1750? A close up where the gap would be. thanks!
:p

:p

I assure you there is no gap (I've used this battery twice now doing some batt life tests), but I will take a pic tomorrow if you would like visual proof :p

Yep, those are fakes. They look similar but fit and quality are not the same (you can see the difference in fit from the pics in the ebay listing and the pics I posted.

Can't wait to get this!

Yeah I assumed. But still, to some people it may be worth paying 66% less for a similar item.

Forgive my ignorance, but wouldn't you have to hack one of these up in order to get button/usb port access for this phone vs the N1?

Also are there any sleeves/backplates out that fit the 2100 ma battery, or should I just stick with the 1700 sienco? The stock battery is just not cutting it for me.

I thought the same thing and I weighed them with a gram scale and the Seidio 1750 battery actually weighed 1 gram less than the OEM 1300 battery. I'm not sure how they did it but I definitely get significantly more battery time with the Seidio 1750.

oooh, maybe it was the lunchtime margarita that impaired my judgment :D

Seems to me that if HTC wanted to dress the stock battery in hooker red, the least they could have done was throw the red dress on a 1750.

Okay guys, here's my take.

The 2150 mAh battery, is going to rock. Even though it's going to be a little be thicker and heavier I see that as being beneficial for three reasons:

  1. It will be easier to hold for bigger hands
  2. It will sit better on a desk/surface so that the camera won't get scratched to hell
  3. You won't have to worry about charging it all the time and carrying around that cable to do so.

There are some downsides of course:

  1. The sleekness will be compromised
  2. The regularly holsters, cases, skins, won't fit.

I am not even going to talk about the 3500mAh battery as that thing is most likely going to be hideous. No one knows for sure yet though...

Might jump the gun and get the TouchPro2 OEM 2150mAh battery if the back cover door Verizon sells will fit it.

All in all May should be an interesting month for our device! :D

No gap haven't seen a huge improvement but first day and heavy use seems to be holding its own. Came from3500 in my Eris though so it still seems to suck ;)
