***Official HTC Incredible Thread***

Long time lurker...blah...blah...blah...

I am really looking to get rid of my Iphone and plan to get the incredible the day it comes out, but have one question for you experts.

On my Iphone if I go to search and type in say "John Smith" it returns all emails, calendar appointments and contact info matching this. Does the android / sense UI system work the same way?

is anyone thinking there's a possibility of an announcement tomorrow?
I mean, we know almost everything about this phone, and i'm sure verizon knows about these leaks. So don't you think an annoucement tomorrow could be likely?
 
MAN, trying to keep up on this thread is like being in a leaking boat and hoping you can bail faster than it comes in!

I was just getting ready to mention that, why does it say "With Google" on the first page? I thought that was reserved for phones with the "Google Experience". The Eris manual says "by HTC" and I don't see either on the Desire manual.

I sure hope Verizon doesn't do their advertising with that wallpaper on the phone. They should use the same one that the HTC Desire has in all of it's official shots. The live wallpaper with the circles and the pinks, blues, and yellows. Much more eye-catching. Just my opinion as a designer though.

I prefer the dark, sleeker look. The one from the Desire has too many bright colors for me. To each his own.

No not with all the Verizon stores still ignorant to it.

Then I tuned off the Google Voicemail part, because using that, at least with my iPhone, the only way you can listen to the voicemail is through the speaker. So unless you have headphones handy or you don't mind everyone else being able to listen you your voicemail, then maybe you'll like Google Voice. I still have a different number set up that people could call to reach me, but I still haven't thought of a good use for it.

I would have to agree. I just set it up and sent myself a test voicemail. When I got the text, I had no idea what I said. They can only make it better I would say.
