MM, I have 99.99% confidence in an April launch

:D

Thanks, pal! You rock!

On another note, I will be keeping my little collection of assorted alcoholic beverages, as "HTC Incredible" is clearly NOT the same as "Droid Incredible."

...The defense rests - your honor?

:p

I can't recall there being an SKU# for the Incredible, but if anyone has it, try calling CSR and ordering by the SKU#. Last year when I was waiting for the Env Touch, I called, gave them the SKU# and they were able to order the phone 2 weeks before launch.

Just a thought..

What I find interesting is that while Verizon is venturing further into Google's world with Android, they still continue to provide email through Yahoo portal via their FIOS offering.

Would using Gmail better the overall experience for someone using both FIOS and Android Wireless smartphones.

I am currently on their 1 Bill for TV/Internet/Phone/Wireless

Comments? Does this belong in another thread?

Makes great sense for consumers and as a result, their business:

1. Differentiation from iPhone and WP7
2. Consumer has more device choice, rather than contrained selection of iPhone and WP7 hardware (aka, wPhone).
3. Devs are starting to get in the groove now

The one HUGE (emphasis- HUUUUGE) caveat is the lack of app space. The market for commercial apps will implode unless Android fixes this, but appears best case will be 2011 for a major Android update that corrects this. By then, all mid to high end Android devices will ship with 1gb as a min for apps, so perhaps Android never will add apps2sd to the framework (perhaps Android is counting on this, since they truly DESPISE the concept of apps2sd).

Simple analogy: It is like building a mall (Android market) with no parking (app space). Virtually all major devs point the app spcae as the reason for not investing in the platform.

Nothing negative will come from giving them your email. Why would a company punish customers who are stumbling over each other to give them money for their products?

Exactly...look at the dates on several of the phones. I don't think they were the actual release dates.

Although, maybe Verizon is planning a Cinco de Mayo release celebration ;) ...Incredible tequila shots! :D

Hey, that would be my birthday... :D

I don't actually celebrate it, BUT if they want to give me an incredible present anyway, I just might make an exception, you know, just this once... :o

It will NOT be named the Incredible upon release! Quote me on that! Heck, I'd wager my wine cellar!
Since there was no stipulation that there wouldn't be and preceding or trailing nomenclature, it was clear your assertion was that it wouldn't have the Incredible name anywhere in it's designation.

Sorry charlie...
