I know AMOLED is on the new side of the equation as far as use in cell phones. And they look fantastic! Especially with respect to contrast (the blacks really pop) and viewing angle. Any concerns with color degradation? The Wiki article lists that as a downside to the technology. And I can remember when the N1 first came out a reviewer was concerned about it. Just puttin that out there...

Well, I was a LITTLE right! Incredible is still part of the name, but never saw anything saying Droid would be added to it. Good to see an actual release date, can't wait for my buddy to get one so I can get a good look at it before my iPhone contract expires!

Good post. I find this kind of thing very entertaining.
This is probably the first time Verizon has been watched so closely on such a large scale. They're obviously getting their site ready for the incredible and it's interesting to see every small change they make pointed out. I just want them to wrap it up and go ahead and post the thing.

I was driving into work this morning listening to a morning talk show (syndicated in OH/TN/NY and maybe a few other states) and one of the hosts mentioned he bought a Droid yesterday. Two of the other hosts immediately responded "Oh! You should have waited until the HTC Incredible comes out on the 29th. It'll be the best Droid phone available."
So really the point of the post is that HTC/VZW are starting to get more and more exposure for the Incredible.

I find it easiest to not sleep and that way you won't fall 15 pages behind....just take a lot of little 10 minute naps
Or i just go thru the pages and look for those posts where the "thanks" reach 10-15 and i can figure that is something worth reading.
And if there is some long post that seems to be qoted more than once i will read that too....otherwise hyper scroll is your friend.
