As I stated before, I did NOT use the web site. I was going to but then saw VZ wanted to change my plan. I called in and spoke to a rep who placed the order and shipped it over night to me.

I'm confused. I thought that's what I said that you only have a slim chance of getting it early if you ordered it from anywhere else other than the web site. I assumed you have no shot if you ordered it online.

ahhhh gotcha.. when you said "slim chance" i thought you were implying it as a negative, not a positive haha. makes sense now! :) my bad, i misunderstood :D

How come they were making you change your plan online? Do you have ACII? I have that and it said the phone was compatible with my plan.

FWIW I decided to call *611 and ask about the orders. She stated the Incredible is available to purchase now. I ordered mine online and she said that she saw that and that it should be in later today. As of 1:45 Eastern time I have not received it.

That was the website not seeing that my Alltel Smartpack plan already included data...The website wanted me to add an additional $29.99 per month on top of my $89.99 Alltel plan. So rather than playing games with VZ as they so love to do, I just called it in.

Just pre-order that hot mess online. Had my NE2 moved up thanks to a really friendly customer service rep I emailed. Hoping somehow my order gets dropped in the "let's get these incredibles out of the warehouse because we need to make room for that shipment of furbys" pile.

Feel like that bad egg girl from Wonka....I want it noooow!!
 
Reading the review on androidcentral, they say the Incredible comes with 8GB internal memory and also an 8GB microSD card in the box as well. I wasn't aware of this - is this true?

No, they are high out of their minds...I didn't see one in my box, I'll take the cover off the back in a minute to check inside as well.

Ok, checked under the hood as well, nope only the 8Gb that comes preinstalled.
