Plus, not everyone has the time to waste an hour in the store waiting to pick up a phone. I will be at work without taking any time off. My phone will arrive at our office early (FedEx always delivers early) and then I can play with my phone all day while i'm at my desk and get paid for it....all without ever having to go anywhere and wait in line. plus the instant rebate.

Don't know how you can beat that.....
 
Hey everyone, quick question to those you already HAVE the incredible:

Has anyone tried the "Mobile Broadband Connect" feature on the phone? Is it free or do you have to buy a service?
I know that they nexus one has tethering by default and does not require one to install pdanet or root. Is this is the case with the HTC Incredible as well?

There isn't a direct link to the VZWWireless.com chat. It seems it's random for me? I usually seem to get the window pop-up more times when you just select any phone and say 'Add to Cart'. Then the box usually comes up. But not always.
And then sometimes when I log onto the site via my company's corporate link, it pops up without doing anything, just as soon as you land on the website..

Hmmm...

Mine was ordered Sunday night and is a 519 number.

there are a couple of apps that offer a visual VM service on the DI, so I would not recommend paying for verizons.
 
after reading the posts about orders being processed you guys have me checking the status of my order every couple of minutes.... :(

One review said they noticed that as well, but when they checked the DI's display settings the brightness was cranked down by default (to save battery perhaps). They said when they turned it up it actually looked better than the N1.

Since our choices of cases are pretty limited right now, I went ahead and ordered the black/red gradiant case now, and when Seidio, Incipio, etc come out with something - I can always order one of theirs then.

Plus - I think that the black/red gradiant case looks pretty sharp! :D

This is what mine is saying!!! I have overnight shipping also, so not sure what 2-3 days means...
 
Just checked mine and it says my order has been processed and will arrive in 2-3 business days (i chose overnight so we'll see). WOO HOO!!!!
