Had my hands on demo today at a kiosk in the mall. I felt like I needed a shower after handling this beautiful device. I have no idea how many people handled the phone before me, but smudges were everywhere. Its as though someone came directly from eating Popeye's chicken and had their way with the phone.

Definately a little thinner than I had expected, but not a deal breaker for me. Looks decent sized in the video reviews...so either I have Andre the Giant hands or the reviewers are petite.

Blazing fast and WAS connected to the network, not WiFi. Definately will be ording one and a screen cover/protector.

So looks like they are moving up the order numbers... mine should be soon as I'm in the 5199 bank last 3 #'s are 791...c'mon vzw draft me lol!

You live in Casselberry? I use to live in Winter Park, now I live in east Orlando.

Speaking of order #s....it keeps getting closer and closer to my order # and i keep checking every couple of minutes like a lunatic for an update.

Mine went thru too. I ordered online at 1130 PM EST on the 18th. My phone is now grayed out again and I can not upgrade my line like I could when I checked last night. I charged it to my verizon account but I have one bill with FIOS and it does not show up yet as billed. I did not get a shipping confirmation email yet but payed for expedited overnight shipping as I missed the promo code. So hopefully I will have my DI by Tuesday!!!

Very cool! Yea same here I'm hitting it up every 3 min or so :)

Edit: hey what kind of 3g speeds are you getting in CFL? Are they pretty good? I'm bailing from att first time vzw customer so I have no idea. National average says 1400/400 I'd be happy to be close to that!
 
i dont really know if its going by order number, weve got 327's and 529's goin at the same time...it seems like its going by date ordered. i hope its by order numbers because i ordered mine on the 21st. would love to get it early!
 
I can add that I called and spoke to a CSR in the internet orders group. She told me that the phones are coming in batches of however many phones at a time and as they come in they will be processing orders. Seems this is what is happening and that a shipment most likely came in today and was processed. She also mentioned that I was very early in the pre-order list and that I should most likely be in the first wave to receive my phone, which it appears is happening.

I generally don't have a lot of faith in what the CSRs say but so far what she told me seems to be right on track.

I received my email order confirmation on 4/18/2010 @ 11:41pm EST....
i'm not really sure how they are processing the orders.....other than in batches from both sets of order #s 327 and 529....

Phew that was close ahah thanks i was worried about that.. 600 is still steep but with taxes too?! sheeeshh... i live in new york by the way cant wait to ditch my droid i hate the build quality
 
is it just my terrible internet connection or is all this refreshing seriously bogging down the vzw website?

its probably my connection.

i think some of the anticipation im feeling will calm when i know my order has been processed. haha i feel like i little kid waiting for santa!
