i ordered mine around 11 or 11:30 CST and mine still says we have recieved your order check back tomorrow

Is something the matter with the Verizon website? I'm checking on my order, but I didn't receive an order number because it gets sent to my sister's e-mail, and well, I clicked the "You're phone is eligible for an upgrade" button and it's showing that I didn't purchase any phones.

I'm going to check back tomorrow to make sure, but I don't like where this is going.

I think I read somewhere that it'll show it until you activate your new phone.

Well, the thing is that I can click the check box next to my phone number and proceed to pick a new phone to upgrade it to. Before, it would show that there is an upgrade currently on this line that is preventing me from purchasing a new phone.
 
Any word about delivery date for those of us that preordered at Best Buy? When should we start expecting phone calls to come pick up our phones? Anyone?

This has been the case for pretty much everybody. Your order hasn't been processed yet, in fact your order is on lock down in a Verizon data base that even their CSR's can't access. Most likely the ability to upgrade will go away when all of our order are processed next week. Just don't call them because the CSR will tell you they don't see your order and then that will freak you out even more.:eek::D Patience, your phone is ordered and will be on the way soon.:)

See I've been reading that, and I believe me phone is on the way, but it just worries me that it says I can upgrade and proceed all the way to the submit order button even though just the other day it showed it as impossible to upgrade my phone because I already placed an order.

I'm just tired and scared. :(

I doubt it's your connection...VZW's site has been a nightmare since the preorders began. It's bogging down all the time for even simple things like trying to look for a case. It took me about 20 tries Monday night to get it to go through.

It's funny that the orders aren't really tied into the accounts yet. I got an email today encouraging me to cash in on my NE2 credit with the Inc. Hmmm, I did that 5 days ago...LOL.

Hoping my order status gets updated soon. 327 starting numbers & ordered on the 19th. Though it was late by the time the site quit crashing long enough for my order to submit. Strange thing is though that it's showing I ordered on the 20th when I clearly got my order confirmation on the 19th. Must have been because of the backlog of orders that it took longer to get into the system??? Seems weird to me.

Are we thinking there's a chance we'll actually see the phone before the 29th?? (other than the really early phone order mixups, of course). That would be awesome if so. Perhaps they're getting so many preorders they didn't want to leave all the processing until the last day and are going ahead and shipping early...oh well...a girl can dream, right?
 
Jesus H. Christ in a sidecar, what is with all the anal-retentive willit when'sit where'sit isit crap? Your orders are in, it's gonna come when it comes, and there's a damn good chance it'll come on the 29th like they said it would. And what're you gonna do if it doesn't? Spend all day on here pissing and moaning about it? I mean, you're worse than Ralphie waiting for his Red Ryder BB Gun. This forum has turned into 98% fretting fidgeting worrying whining moaning griping panties-in-a-bunch gnashing speculating gobbledy shmiddley shmop. Someone should start a "Holy jeez the VZW site isn't whispering sweet nothings in my ear while I wait" thread so this one can get back to something resembling a productive endeavor.

VZWs' ecommerce site is finally running again. Its been failing all day for online orders of the Inc. Even VZWs internet support csr tried to enter my order [an NE2 upgrade] from his computer and saw the same failure.

If you've been getting through the order prep but having it fail when you enter the Checkout phase, try again now. Looks like its back in business, for now anyway :cool:

Oh, and BTW............... MINES ORDERED AT LAST!

Its a sure thing that my immediate crowd will be lining up for theirs as soon as they see the Inc in the flesh. As my daughter reminds me, "Not everyone can get totally geeked by something that nobody can see, let alone buy!"

Now I can get my head back into the rest of the game until it arrives. If that's one day next week, I'm good with it.

Well, you can always go up a forum if you don't like where this thread is going. But I always did love A Christmas Story and to be fair, we've all been dreaming about our Red Ryder Incredible for longer than Ralphie dreamed and schemed for his Red Ryder BB Gun. So bear with us. A lot of us have been on this thread since the early, early days. And it's our last few days to do so.

They said they would call you. They never told me they would call. I was just planning on going in Thursday morning and grabbing it.
