***Official HTC Incredible Thread***

I know this was discussed a while ago, but I can't find it now.

When I get the Incredible, I know the applications I installed on my Droid will redownload, and my contacts will automatically be put in there too. What about settings within the programs? Will those transfer as well? What about backgrounds and data within the phone? If not, whats the best way to save those? Tags in Shazam and favorites in Pandora? Alarms? Will saved voicemails in Google voice transfer? Whats the best way to do that? Also, what is the best way to delete my personal information from the phone to make sure that it is completely deleted? Thanks!

Seriously. I hate to think how much time I've burned on this, and I only started lurking here in January. The really early guys must have literally hundreds of hours into ferreting out the gems of info that got us hooked and drew us into the obsession.

Hats off to Anonimac and his true believers for getting this thread going and keeping it fed with little gems of intel that have turned out to be remarkably accurate. Much appreciated, and finally vindicated as the leading source on the this product. About time, eh?
 
I'm thinking we should probably start a "Pre-Order Status" thread, so we can keep track of where the orders are at(if they are in fact processing them by order#).

Yep, I filled out the pre-order form and got my $50 gift card. The girl said they'd call me when the phone was in. I was just wondering if there were any Best Buy employees on here that had the inside scoop. I thought I'd aske since we seem to have the VZW preorder situation pretty well covered from about 237 angles ;)

Good idea. But I think they will only create and fuel the people going crazy about their orders...

They should be getting the phones any day now. Probably Monday.

Don't worry. At the chat, I've been tasked with keeping track. As far as what has been posted here and in the chat...we're at 11 whose orders have been processed. :)
