When I called yesterday afternoon the rep told me to order by 4pm yesterday or I won't get it by the 29th.When I called later that day another rep told me that he can't see anything in the inventory no more and I might be out of luck getting it on time...hmmmm...any thoughts or more info?:confused:

It still says on their site that all orders place by 4PM on 4/28 will be delivered on 4/29 - I would be really surprised if they didn't change that, if there were no more inventory right now. But I could be wrong!

They are 9, we just aren't sharing all 9 digits. :)
 
i'm pretty sure its not going in exact order, my order changed to we have recieved your order, and another guys here has a number less than mine and his hasn't changed. so who knows how they're doing it..

A) Pot, meet kettle. What a lovely, enlightening, informative post you have there. :rolleyes:

B) Actually, yes, I did have something new to say. Unless I've missed it, I don't recall anyone being told by a rep what their credit limit was. Some people were wondering if their current status of "check back in a few days" had to do with billing the equipment to their account.

C) Sorry, I'm cooped up inside with not much to do but read, watch TV, and be on the internet. I have 3 incisions in my stomach from having my ovaries drilled and endometriosis removed on Tuesday. So, yeah, you'll just have to excuse me if I don't feel much like getting outside and going for a walk.

congrats man! I am getting married on May 8th. Im excited because now I can be with my two loves which are both pretty incredible!

since it seems its not going in order i wonder if its going alphabetically by last name perhaps? even when you check your status your order number and your last name are the 2 things that tie you to your phone.

For instance 16,000,000,000 is 16GB is manufacturer's eyes, in RAW unformatted space, however, when you format it, you don't get that full amount of space.

16,000,000,000 Bytes / 1024 = 15,625,000 KB
15,625,000 KB / 1024 = 15,258.789 MB
15,258.789 MB / 1024 = 14.9 GB

Then there are a few small factors that might snag a little more space out of that... but that calculation will always be very close to the exact amount of space available after format.

Who knows, I doubt it's last name as mine is close to the beginning of the alphabet. It's all computerized, so there has to a method to their madness.
 
Sorry folks, I must have stumbled into the "Incredible order confirmation / shipping thread" by mistake. I'm going to see if I can find that thread that has some actual info about the phone now....

yeah, i called verizon a few days ago and they confirmed micro. In other words, you can use your droid charger for it.

Really genius what is it that you would like to know? We already know EVERYTHING about the phone. Maybe you should go read the evergreen page, or one of the million reviews that are out there now...

This is getting closed soon and the most valuable information to most of us at the moment is about the phone being shipped. Go talk to someone who cares...
 
Just my opinion, but it seems that instead of forcing this thread off topic, that we should make other threads on other topics. For example, someone should create a pre-order thread, and fill that up with posts about that, and so on. This off topic stuff started a while ago, and just continued to what we have in here today. I just don't get it.

What have you guys read/experienced with the Incredible's battery life? I've heard very mixed reviews - some lasting 2 days with normal usage and others lasting only 12 hours! What do you guys think? Or for those of you who have the phone: what have you experienced? I'm kind of worried - someone please ease my mind :)
