Needless to say, i spent 45 minutes with this immeasurable phone. Everything we have heard about it is absolutely true. LIGHTNING fast in everything I tried. The camera was INCREDIBLE. Focused amazingly and the pictures were awesome. Video as well. It was quite a bit thinner than I had expected. I literally had no problem with it the whole time (except explaining to myself why I had to wait 5 more days till i can have it :(

I did disagree with one thing that everyone has said in most reviews online. I did not by any means feel that it was "plasticky" or "cheap" feeling. I thought it was amazing feel and touch. I absolutely cannot wait for this phone. Everything I wanted was there.

If anyone has any questions about it, i checked everything out that I could think of and did not put all of that here. Let me know. Everyone should be INCREDIBLY excited for this phone, its going to be everything we'd hoped for.

pretty much the same experience i had... they didnt want to show it to me at first, after a bit of chatting them up he let me play with it.

i agree 100%, there is NO cheap or plasticky feel to it, seriously i don't know what they are talking about.

i also didnt even notice the capacitive dots on the screen.

all i know is i want my damn phone, and I can't wait until thursday! arg

I did not want to d/l anything beings that it was not my phone and they did not have the android market set up yet.

I did however go to ALL KINDS of websites and I was amazed how fast they loaded. WiFi was turned off, strictly through the network connection pages loaded like a computer. I even went to all kinds of sites I know that have flash on them and it zipped through the load like it was on steroids.
 
so the two who posted above charged the phone to their verizon wireless account and will pay it on next months bill? and your status got the "processed" update today?

Guys, the dots are nothing. I was kindof wondering why that was even a discussion while I was looking for them. There is NO WAY you will see them without looking specifically for them only.

The screen was amazing. Very similiar to the ipod/iphone, yes.

No, I billed mine to my debit card. It should be going through whenever Verizon finishes up whatever they are doing. It is pending now.

I'll give you my answers based on the Droid Eris.. I'm assuming the process will be similar.

1. You don't have to put all your FB friends in your contacts list. That could get a little crazy! Out of my 376 FB Friends I probably only have contact info for about 150 or so of them in my phone.

2. You can like your current contacts to there profiles. The phone will do that for you. Some you will have to add manually like if your friend Mary Jones got married and you have her in your phone as Mary Jones but Facebook name is Mary Jones-Smith you can go through your FB friends list and link the contact.

3. Sorry I can't think of a way to illustrate the answer to your 3rd question...

It's HTC Sense UI! Sings like T.I. "you can do whatever you like"...:D

random...but if anyone has an android phone with flash, do you know if the webkinz game site works? The little ones would be thrilled if they could play while on the go.

Dude, chill. Your order is exactly how it's supposed to be. Everybody's order is in the same status as yours, but now they are beginning to be processed. As soon as your order is processed, that same CSR you talked to will be able to view your order. Until then she has no access to even see if you ordered the Incredible. Relax, take a valium.:)
 
@Blue Rocket - Any possibilities for an Android robot decal with his arms pointed up so I could stick him right below the "htc" on the back of my Incredible? It'd kinda look like he was holding up the htc logo, which I think would be badass.

Many times, someone will also click the
post_thanks.gif
button when they really agree with what someone is saying, instead of taking up another post, quoting them, and then saying they agree.

Generally, from the nature of the post, you can kinda get the gist of what people are clicking the

Ordered mine 19th @ about 5AM EST billed to my account and my status just updated today, but still no tracking e-mail...
