I realize I am late to thank everyone that replied to my posts, but thank you! I searched the thread and everyone that quoted me got a "Thanks". :)

Also, I just received the order number from my sister today and checked it and I'm also one of the people that haven't had their order processed. Then again, it's seeming as though all of these Incredible preorders are bogging their servers so bad that their data and such is probably getting skewed.

Anyway, I'm excited to finally see it change! Here's hoping Monday morning tells me something good! :D

Long time lurker here first time poster with a question I have not seen answered before. My son has the Eris and the phone takes several minutes to restart after being turned off. I was wondering if anyone with the Incredible has noticed how long a reboot takes?
Thanks

Someone had mentioned that it took about 37 seconds for theirs to boot up.

My card has a pending charge on it that's $50 more than what the confirmation email said it would be ($158 vs $208). What the heck...

I am not sure if anyone has responded to your question. I found out from Verizon that they charge tax on the full retail price of the phone if you live in California. So, even if you got the phone for $149 like I did or even for $99 like some people you still have to pay the sales tax on the full retail price of $529. It's a California thing. Nice, huh?

Does anyone know if there is an activation fee for this phone if purchased at a verizon store? Thanks
I believe if you're a new customer then there is an activation fee...
but if you're renewing a contract there is none

(someone correct me if I'm wrong :o)

Quick post to say my order finally got processed today sometime between 1 - 4 pm EST. Was gettting nervous since I ordered @ 1219 am on the day. Can't wait to get this bad boy and drain the batt lol!

I think Verizon did a poor job of handling this pre-order business on the DI... I've been with them since the beginning around 10 years ago in my area, back when my cell company was Bell Atlantic Mobile and Verizon bought them out.

This is the first pre-order instance that I can remember Verizon doing, although I think they should just call it the "pre-fail" because so many things have seemed off with all the misinformation, not knowing and such. At least it looks like a large part of the orders are going to go through a few days earlier, though!

In store activation fee is $35 for the primary line and $25 for the secondary line on a family share plan unless you get them to waive it.

Pre-fail really? It's not even the 29th yet, how can you call it a fail? Sure, some people got theirs early, but that's just a mistake. Unless the pre-orders get shipped out late and we don't receive the phone until after the 29th, I wouldn't call it a fail
