Pre-fail really? It's not even the 29th yet, how can you call it a fail? Sure, some people got theirs early, but that's just a mistake. Unless the pre-orders get shipped out late and we don't receive the phone until after the 29th, I wouldn't call it a fail
I think what he was talking about was the same thing I mentioned earlier. They didn't explain that a few days after you pre-order your status goes back to being eligible for an upgrade because the phone that was ordered wasn't activated. They was a lot of confusion about the 8gb memory (onboard or in a microsd card), wifi 802.11n being available, ect. The first problem in my opinion was having the preorder start on a night when they do work on the site (took me a half hour to find that they do site maintenance on Sunday night from 12-6am). They knew they were going to do this release for awhile but the outcome made it seem like it was put together in a couple weeks. Most of the CSRs didn't know about the phone for a few days even after it was announced on the site. Either no one reads the internal memos or Verizon didn't do a very good job of informing their employees how it was going to work. If they had, no one should have gotten their phones this week because they wouldn't have been able to order them over the phone. Stuff like this worries me what phone delivery will be like.
