I finally gave up trying to order the case on line and called Verizon to order it. I was only hold for 10 minutes. They are swamped. The CSR said that in some regions they are out of stock on the Incredible. It took his computer forever to get my order placed and it was complicated with the discount I get from my husband's work. He also said with all the shipping they are doing that they couldn't offer me overnight shipping on the case and that it would be here by 7p on Thursday. My feeling is as long as I have my phone I can wait a day on the case.

Now I am just sitting here with fingers crossed that my Incredible does come today as it says it's on the truck...

And, whoever started calling this phone "my Precious" certainly was right. I feel a bit obsessed but I just can't help myself.

Please people, do yourself a favor and use your phone while it's charging. There isn't a break in period for a new battery. There's too much old information about different batteries being applied to lithium ions.

Priming will make little difference because the maximum capacity of lithium-ion is available right from the beginning. Neither does a full discharge improve the capacity of a faded pack. However, a full discharge/charge will reset the digital circuit of a 'smart' battery to improve the state-of-charge estimation[/FONT].

No, actually the Eris is a modified Mini USB - take a look at these connectors in this post and you can see that they are different than this one - looking at it the left side looks like a normal mini usb, but the right side is square off. I was irritated when we got my wife's phone to find out that it is not a true mini usb as advertised and a proprietary type connector. I have tons of mini usb's lying around...

The regular mini usb fits in that port just fine I used to do it with my G1 all the time.
 
WOOOHOOO!!! called fed ex since the facility where their holding my fone is 15 min from my house and they said i can pick up my INCREDIBLE in between 6:30 and 8:15pm tonight.. WOW months and months and months of waiting for this very day and now its finally here... thanks guys for all your time dedicated to this site to make this phone become reality, in fact i think 95 percent of ALL THE information and leaks came from this very thread! i wish everyone can get their phone 2day like me you all deserve it just as mush as i do if not more!!!!

You wouldn't even need to buy the usb to micro usb cable for the Incredible as it already comes with the unit out of the box. The wall charger is a USB charger then takes the included usb to micro usb cable.

Thanks! My ex bought a random charger from a mall kisok b/c he was trying to save $5. I told him not too.... We got into his truck and he plugged it into the phone and it went BOOM!!!! POP! POP! SIZZLE!!!

I'll take a look at the link. I'm tired of giving VWZ my money....
 
why is it that since yesterday it says 2-3 days. wouldn't today say 1-2. lol i'm re posting a lot b/c i'm in a panic i won't get it on thursday. sorry

It is probably 2-3 days from when they posted it.

It doesn't mean that the 2-3 days start over every day they don't change it.

Whatever day you got that message count 2-3 days.
 
Hey everyone just wanted to say that I received my phone today! Writing this on my incredible right now! Awesome phone and good bye blackberry!!! I'm sure others are getting theirs too! I preordered on the 20th and FedEx was still saying it was in Ontario this morning at 8 am, over 4 hrs from my house so don't go off fedex for checking your status.

Ah shit...I hope the driver is okay, and I also hope that my phone wasn't in this truck...


On a separate note, I called *611 about the SMART30 discount and they said that I need to receive the phone, activate it, and then call internet sales and the discount will be applied...

I basically told them that if they didn't apply it I would just reject the delivery and re-order...I'm all about saving $$$$ 169.99 isn't too shabby :D

Cause the status was populated with that canned message. Will only update when the status really changes.

They don't do an F5:eek: ever 5 minutes, like we do.
