I have the same thing. I have it going to work and I'm not going to be here at 7pm. If it arrives that late, I'm going to have them call me and I'll rush to work and get it.

Guess I got lucky! Although, I would gladly give up that $30 to have the phone in my hand right now. And besides, I guess I didn't really get the discount until I see it on my account. God knows if that will actually happen.
 
hmmm, arrives 7 pm + charge 5 hours = midnight, have to be at work at 7:30, going to be really hard to just plug it in and forget about it until the next morning.... :)

I had the same thing happen. I saw it was "out for delivery" and waited around here all morning for the guy to show up. When I checked the status later it said it wasn't due for delivery and it was back at the terminal. They will let me pick it up, but between 6:30 and 7:30 tonight about 40 min from here. WTH? :mad:
 
I'm still waiting for the Internet CSR to call me back! This is like when you meet a guy and he say's 'he'll call' and you keep checking but you don't want to call him b/c your trying to 'be cool'....
 
I have been working on my Google contacts. I transferred my Mac Address Book to my Google account and now I am cleaning them up. Before I continue I want to make sure...when I enter my Gmail info into the Incredible will those contacts be there as my contacts? Or do I have to sync the phone?

why buy a dedicated phone car charger? you could buy a usb car charger like: Dual USB car charger(1000mA) for iPhone iPhone 3G iPhone 3GS phone/PDA/MP3/MP4 - Meritline.com for only $3

then just buy the applicable usb to micro/mini/whatever cord. this way you can charge more than just one device in your car. and if you're concerned with a no-name brand, you can find "brand names" ones Amazon.com: usb car charger

all of these are cheaper than what verizon is charging

I just tried to get the SMART30 promo code, and they said coz the order has been placed they cant do it. I told em cancel the order and I will deny the shippment. He said you can do that and reorder. I said your billing cant you just do an adjustment? he says, if I talk to my manager I can see what we can do. I said that sounds better than waiting for another round of shipping and waiting.. he said he'd call me back.. when he does, if its not the ok on adjustment, Im gonna tell him Its not letting me enter the code on a new order. then see what he says

Sold my Droid and activated an old Moto Razr and now I can't make or receive calls. I really can't wait for this thing to hit BB's shelf! I went back in time to the point of before pagers with this stunt. I will warn you all of the Incredible wait time for this phone and how you should wait to order it on the 28th with the discount code and make sure to ask for the 2gig sdcard!

No, actually the Eris is a modified Mini USB - take a look at these connectors in this post and you can see that they are different than this one - looking at it the left side looks like a normal mini usb, but the right side is square off. I was irritated when we got my wife's phone to find out that it is not a true mini usb as advertised and a proprietary type connector. I have tons of mini usb's lying around...

Mini USBs still work on the Eris with no problems. I had an Eris and never had trouble with a mini USB charger.
 
Between this thread and the "Please check back tomorrow" thread, I am getting worried that I might not even get my Incredible on Thursday. This is making me so nervous!
