Verizon has under estimated the demand for this phone. I'm still not convinced I will even sniff a tracking number by the end of the day.

I had to call them, they had my order 2 day. Wrong. They changed it to overnight like it was supposed to be and SAID it will process and be on a truck today getting it tomorrow. I'm skeptical, but I have no choice now. I won't like it, but another day or 2 won't kill me.

Yeah im coming from a Blackberry Storm as well.

My wife has Tmobile G1 and have never really gotten use to Android.

The one concern I have is that with the BlackBerry Storm it has the push and click where you can tap anywhere and it wont recognize it unless you click the screen.

Did it take you anytime getting use to the change?
 
I got to play with the Droid Incredible last night! Fine build quality! Simply incredible! (I know, I know that's the most over-used phrase to describe this stunning device). It was lightning quick and very sleek. Loved every moment of it -- all five minutes unfortunately. I was surprised at how narrow it was compared to my iPhone! It's more pocketable too!! Good-bye iPhone - hello Android! :D

Tomorrow can't come soon enough!! ARRRRRGGGHHH!

I'm right there with you brother! As soon as I got my phone activated I didn't even know where to start!! There is so much to do and going on with this device. I thought I had played around with it for 15 mins and an hour had gone by lol!!

Anyways, this truly is an incredible device
 
Just ordered mine today. Good thing too, my (second) Dare just turned oily under the screen and if it is anything like last time it died, that means I have a few days before the screen stops working. What happened to the Inc being out of stock? My order went through fine...

FedEX is kinda screwy with some deliveries....

I had a package I was waiting for, knew it was with the delivery guy when he stopped at my house to deliver something for someone else (they put the wrong house number down - theirs started with a 5 and mine with a 3) but he couldn't deliver mine until the "high priority" packages were delivered. They didn't care that this might mean 2 stops at the same residential address or not! I got the package I was waiting for from the same driver in the same van about 3 hours later.

:( I think so. This thread has been truly epic and will be gone but not forgotten..

A big thanks to everyone out there who made this thread what it is and to all of those who helped out with the leaks and breaking news.

NKT, Anon, Montana Man, Kappy, Nash, Steven, and everyone else, you guys have been great and made this the #1 thread of the ever expanding android community!

Got mine! Charging in the truck as we speak. Mine included the 2GB MicroSD card and Adapter as well.

I Pre-Ordered on 10:35PM Central Time April 18th

P.S. If you charge with your Car charger it will cut your wait time down by at least half!
 
On the truck and out for delivery.

The Fedex guy came twice last week to deliver phone accessories I'd ordered online. Both times he was here just after 2 o'clock, so that's what I'm hoping for. I've got two phone cases and a car charger sitting in my desk, waiting.

yeah, hes delivering to my work though. and he usually comes around that time every day.

I don't have mine yet-- my email just said 2-5 days (I sure hope not..), but I wanted to come on here and give my thanks as well, to all of you who contributed to this thread. I have been here so much in the past almost 6 months, I'm sad that it's going. Is that weird, or what? I'm a sap. Enjoy your Incredibles, and hopefully I will see you in the various other threads here.
 
Ok... so I just ordered my DI last night (I know I know... last minute but its a long story) around 10 or 11 pm CT. Do you think Verizon is still going to be able to honor this "if ordered by the 28th at 4pm it will be delivered on the 29th" deal?

I was able to adjust to the no-click interface pretty rapidly. YMMV, of course.

I liked the surepress tech in the Storm's web browser. In other places I could have done without because the UI was inconsistent on what needed to be tapped and what needed to be clicked (e.g. text fields, text selection).

I'm still getting used to it, and my typing isn't the fastest, but the HTC auto-correction is pretty good. Also, no problems with web browsing so far (I was worried about accidental clicks) but I haven't used it enough to make a conclusion.
 
My bank account was FINALLY charged!!!

On the status page I am still getting "Your order is currently being processed. Please check back tomorrow.". So what is the next step? I was just charged the full amount but I haven't received an email or anything yet. Do I get an email next or what's the deal? Thanks!!
