It arrived at the Dulles facility at 3:25AM
On the truck for delivery at 7:28AM

That's next day delivery by any definition. Free too!

Man...1lb.. this thing (+ screen protectors) is LIGHT!!
also, what is this i hear about vzw screen protectors?
 
Well, it seems the wait is over for many of us. Mine will be here today and I could not be more excited.

Thanks again to everyone that contributed information about the release of this phone.
 
How do I get the FedEx tracking information? I pre-ordered mine yesterday and it still says the following on the VZW Order Status Page:

Order Status: Your order has been processed. You should receive your order within 2 - 3 business days.

you should receive an email with tracking information...
 
this is so Stupid, my incredible is sitting at my local fedex since 8:45 am, i called at 8:46 am, asking if they could hold it for me to pickup, and after 10 minutes and the line of course we can do that for you sir, She says o wait, there's a hold on it, so it cant be picked up until after atleast 1 delivery attempt, i live 5 minutes away from fedex, and they SAY i have to wait 6 more hours, CURSE YOUUUUUUU FEDEX!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes. Wife had one foot out the door to head to the gym when they showed up. But, I had also left a signed printout of the tracking info stuck to the window in case..that has worked for me in the past with an Indirect Sig rqmt.

yeah, my sister just got a droid this week! needless to say, i just got off the phone with her, explaining her options... :D
 
I had a chance to check out the Incredible at the VZW store last night. It really is beautiful. The colors are rich, didn't notice any lag whatsoever, the finish on the back feels very smooth but grippy and the overall form factor looks downright lustworthy in person. I also noticed that when compared to the DROID, the screen seems a little "deeper". On the DROID it feels like the screen is right at the surface, but on the Incredible it seems like it's sitting under a centimeter of glass.

That being said, it's on the FedEx vehicle for delivery!!!! :-D

well at least she is still in the 30day window..

For the ones that saw the commercials they have been running non-stop and are out of their 30 day return window, they will be mad

You are allowed to have an indirect signature. That means a post it with a message and your signature will suffice, or like an apartment complex person could sign for it, etc.

Oh, and by the way, my Inc is out for delivery - it's been a long preamble but the real ride is about to begin. Thanks for all of the info, stories, squabbles, and rambling that has helped me pass the time while waiting.

I too have been here for some time...I can't believe I watched it go from a few spy pics all the way to people posting pics of their phones and info about tracking...I have never seen such a response to a phone like this one...I enjoyed the camaraderie, the leaks, all the help from various sources (You all know who you are) and the risks that they took...the crazy stories about harassing employees in-store....God, what fun this has been.

I have to delay getting an Incredible for the time being (My new every two is up in a month, and I need car repairs which take precedence) but I look forward to seeing you all in the other forum threads once I snag one of these bad boys...

Thanks for the good times, and I hope they continue soon!

On-topic, of course. ;)
 
Just wanted to let you guys know, I've had this phone since yesterday and it is truly Incredible. I just sat there jumping between screens and apps yesterday. I've spent so much time following Android that, now that I have a phone that runs the OS, I don't know where to start! I have lists of Apps, customization ideas, etc... I'm a bit overwhelmed (but in a good way!).
