I had to go down to the Verizon store with my wife to get her palm pre plus replaced ( i know, I know). When we got there we were greeted and asked if there was anything they could help us with, of course before my wife could answer I spouted off " do you have an incredible I can play with?!" of course the CSR said "no, not until Thursday", deterred I grumble some nasty words under my breath and let her help my wife. So I'm wandering around the store eves dropping when I can to try and deduce which of these people is the manager, after about 5 mins. I figure out which one she is and I go in for the Kill.

As I approached her she gets off " anything I can help you with?", I think to myself "lady you have no idea!" So I ask her about the incredible and she responds "yeah I have one in back, let me go get it for you". Really it was that easy? NO teeth pulling or water-boarding? Just when I get the suspicion that it's a trap she's comes out and calmly hands it to me...... I have no clue as to why but my hand were shaking like a leaf in chicago, maybe because it was the final step in this long journey but I was about to hold the very thing that I have been stalking for so long. At first touch this phone feels very very solid. Not cheap or plasticy at all, this is an amazing build and I can tell you that the talks of it feeling cheap are wholey unfounded. The phone is amazingly fast and the speakers are actually pretty damn good, one of the employees installed the lightsaber app so I was able to play around with that. I was able to play around with just about everything I could think of ( over an hour of playtime with it). THe Camera is another area that I thought (from reviews) would be a little lack luster but let me tell you that the camera Rocked!!! The phone IMO was worth the wait and lives up to the hype now I just gotta wait another day, which is a lot more difficult knowing what I'm getting now!!!!

My phone is only nine minutes from my brother's house - where I had it sent so someone could sign for it. I sure hope that they deliver to him first vs on their way back to the station.

I almost feel like we need to call *611 again just to make sure that it is all happening for real this time.
 
I had a dream I got my package but in was a car charger, 2GB micro card and a 8BG micro card.... No phone! I was very unhappy. I hope that doesn't happen today.

First impressions- battery draining quickly like my Eris- vibrate is pretty weak like Eris- phone feels great- screen is very bright and crisp- very fast unlike Eris. BTW both phones came with 2gb SD cards.

My phone is still in Atlanta, GA since 1:17PM yesterday.

Figured it would be at local facility by now and maybe even on truck for delivery :(

It is now showing in the Hicksville Local Fedex.

Guess it was sitting on a truck all day waiting to be delivered. They would not want to overpeform by delivering a package early.

Here's the link to the video of their review. 5 out of 5 is awesome for Kevin and Chris! They were very impressed with the fact that they could watch their own web videos on the Incredible - something their IPhones won't do. :D

Mine shows "at local Fedex facility" last night at 9 and this morning at 4. What's that about?

edit: It just changed to on truck for delivery! Good thing I can easily skip all my classes today to wait for it. And to think, I could be YOUR doctor someday.
 
Mine has been at a sorting facility for 15 hours. It is supposed to be here today before 7:00 PM if they ever decide to sort and ship.... they are just doing this to drive me crazy. I think I'm going nucking futs.....:)
 
So what is the best screen protector for this? I am goign to pick up the gradient case, but i heard the VZW screen protectors are trash. I dont care about price, i just want the best there is for the Incredible.

After reading all your posts about the BB stocking issues, I call my BB only to be told they dont have the phone in stock yet. Im at my wits end. Like all of you, I want my phone Thursday, should I 1) Order online with overnight delivery? 2) Hope BB gets the Inc in stock tomorrow? or 3) Wait at a VZ store a few hours early Thursday morning? Don't worry, they are just saying that they don't. My BB said they don't and when my buddy went to work last night, he sent me a pic with him holding the box. He claims they've had it for about a week or so.

Mine did the same but in Memphis. It must be having a good time on Beale Street (and please no "Walking in Memphis" jokes :cool:)
