Possibly, but I feel like I see an outer circle with an inner black (lens) circle.

Based on reports that HTC was supposed to make something "better than everything else" for Verizon and considering Sprints EVO has a front facing camera, a front camera would make sense on the device to end all be all for verizon, ESPECIALLY with the new skype partnership.

Also that is the perfect spot for camera.

well montana man you did leave a couple crucial parts out of your story that we all need badly..the color and plate number of his lexus cause it sounds to me this guy needs to meet up with a couple members of this thread at his next red light..

now we need to tap some of our other resources here and see if theres any traffic cams in that area..i know their everywhere here in mass now..no more running reds but im sure in montana theres no speed limit? anyway your rite his car must stick out..Thanks montana man..we got it from here!! haha

If the HTC rep got on here and read the story, he'd probably be the only one who would report it. Oh, I'd LOVE to see his reaction to the 'choad' comments! :eek:

And I think MM said there were 4 or so stores in his county? I dunno, it's ultimately up to him.
 
Thanks guys! It sure was exciting! I felt like I was in a "mission impossible" movie, or something. However, I was mad at myself for using the word "incredible" with the rep as I might have got more info from him if I didn't do that. I just hope that he wasn't playing me - didn't sound like he was - and that this thing comes out SOON!!!!!!!! :)

Sorry for all the Se7en references. As soon as this box came out and the stress that followed all I could think of was the end of that movie. :)

I greatly appreciate the info I've been needing an Incredible fix for awhile now.
 
So in light of MM's recent clandestine investigation (BTW, thanx MM:D), he seems confident in a launch/announce date of 1-3 weeks. Some people have posted (forgive me, I don't know exactly where) that store reps, VZW mgmt, etc. have told them the N1 will likely drop before the Incredible. Do you guys think this means that we are faced with an immanent N1 launch, or that previous posters had poor info or what?
 
Ok so now we know that only corporate stores are getting the "6300 Box" so...... that would mean that they will be selling them first....... How can I tell if it is a corporate store cause I think all I have around here is retailers they used to be Alltel

I definitely hope so. Even though it's not something I'd use often (if ever), it would be a nice bragging point. :cool: And didn't Anon say to expect some special feature we hadn't really discussed yet? Could that be it?

While the result wasn't what we hoped for, it was entertaining and somewhat educational at best. :rolleyes:

Well the speculation continues... And frankly I'm tired of it... Based on all the information (or lack of) we gathered this week, I'm going to stick to my plan.

If nothing concrete develops by April one, I'm going into learning mode. I'll buy a Droid (the best thing available at the moment) and at best get familiar with the Andoid OS and some available apps.

Then , 30 days re-evaluate the situation, If we have the Incredible, or at least something concrete by then, I'll return the Droid because Verizon forced me into this situation and re-activate my curve and wait for the release.

If not well then I'll have the best available at the moment and I'll live with it till the next latest and greatest is available to me.

In either case I'm out from under my Curve!

But more importantly, I'm going into forum rehab! I'm completly drained and I'm over it! I'm going to break this forum addiction and get back to the real world. Oh I'll check in from time to time to see if anything great developed. But I'm done risking my job and wearing out my f5 button. It's been fun but......... It's just not worth it! GEES! Good nite all! :eek:

If Anon had anything that he thought was gonna be announced at CTIA, he would've spilled, and he said it wasn't spec related, and a front facing cam would definitel be a phone spec.
 
Here's why I TOTALLY believe this story. The reason I believe it is because of a detail in it. When the HTC guy complained and squawked about the condition (dusty, I believe?) of the HTC phones, that nailed it for me.

You see, my father in law, back in the day, was a regional salesman for Stearns and Foster bedding. He went into a very large Department store bedding dep't where his stuff was being displayed. He started complaining and squawking about how they weren't displayed well enough and that he was going to take his product out of their store if they didn't remedy the situation.

I was shocked, because he was normally so quiet, mild and soft-spoken. He was miffed and let it be known.

MM. That totally sold me on the veracity of the incident. You're getting that beer. Just give me your email.

Thanks for everything MM!! I have an interview right next door to HTC in Bellevue and once I'm done I'm going to make my way to the parking lot and smoke a few cigarettes in their smoking area and basically stay till I get some news or until I'm escorted off the property.

We should all be as proactive as MM!

I know many of you wanted to see HTC Incredible at CTIA and were let down :( Sorry.

But my source has told me a closer time for the Release of the phone.

My source has told me that the phone should be released within Thirty days based on what he was told by someone else higher up. :)

Hope that gets yall buzzing :)
