Droid Apollo

Apollo is a Greek and Roman god of music (8 GB ROM), healing (i have a fever, and the cure is more...Apollo), prophecy (we've done a lot a that) and enlightenment (we all feel sorry for the non-enlightened iPhone bunch).

If that's too simple then the Droid Supercalifragilisticexpialadocious works too.

Okay!!! I heard back from my twitter source about where he got his 4/17 in store date for the Incredible. He said that he got it from "androidforums" :rolleyes: :p

I tweeted him back that I was a member here (I was faaar to modest to tell him that I was one of the *superstar members* :p) and that we really didn't have anything firm on the date information. :rolleyes:
 
how with CTIA this close can there not be ANY information leaking on the incredible, or any other phones for that matter? I'M SO BORED!

Because if anything's gonna be announced, then they are currently on lockdown with threat of termination (job, that is). Nobody wants to risk their jobs to leak any info.

ETA: PS -I'm bored too.
 
the "htc more powerful than superman,spiderman, and the incredible hulk put together" heh heh sorry, my family guy reference...I will keep it on topic from now on....actually at least I used the word incredible :)

To expand on your post a bit...

I'm starting to think that this may be THE MOST important launch for Verizon do date for a phone and that there is some piece to this we're missing. Not only are they releasing an AMAZING phone (if the specs hold up), but there may be something we're missing. Perhaps something like a Skype integration we're not picking up on, Live TV, ability to install apps to SD card or the expanded ROM, some other service they haven't launched yet...i don't know, just thinking out loud. We haven't heard a peep out of Verizon, but we know for a fact (unless EVERYTHING we have is a lie) it's coming to Verizon...it just tells me this is going to be huge and they keeping a very very tight lid on it.

That's a good point. A new feature would put even more pressure on competitors, which are also going to be launching phones soon. The quiter the news is kept, the harder it is for competitors to try and match that feature (or features).

Yes it seems the more the insiders learn about the Incredible, the tighter they are getting on releasing any info. :rolleyes: (not that I blame them, Job > No-Job)

Nothing substantial is coming forth, just rehash from here...:mad:
