I get a whole day out of my Droid by using a task killer, keeping wifi, bluetooth, etc. off, and dimming the screen..

If a line of Mac Trucks were on a bridge and you could clearly see that if they sat there for a few more minutes the bridge would collapse overtop a major highway would you:

  1. Inconvenience everyone during the middle of the day to prevent a this catastrophic event, or
  2. Wait until the hours of 2a.m. to 6a.m. so you don't have to irritate people during their daily commute?
Or if a dog were in the street about to get hit by a car in the middle of the road would you try to save the dog THEN... or wait until 2am to see what happens cause you shouldn't have to make the car slow down?

Basically its a matter of PLANNED maintenance versus unforeseen disaster prevention/response. Hopefully you understaned we're doing everything we can to hook you all up with the goods 24/7 and have plans to improve further.

Things aren't perfect yet... but we'll continue to aim for perfection. If the site is a tad slow over the coming days, realize we're on top of it! Simply isn't something we can fix with the snap of a finger.

That being said I want to thank everyone that has peeked their head into this thread and especially those that continue to follow and contribute. This is by far the most epic thread in the history of AndroidForums. Heck... this thread is bigger than most other AndroidForums in their entirety!

You guys really are the best!!!!!!!!!!

Here's a link to the one I bought. I didn't take any pictures of the install as it's pretty basic. But for the price this stereo has all of the features of Pioneer and Kenwood units that cost twice as much installed from places like Best Buy and Audio Express.

And Crutchfield (who I have avoided buying anything from in the past) even gives you all of the install gear for free with your purchase. I was very impressed. And after a month of use, I am also impressed with this stereo. It's good quality and I love the features, especially the bluetooth!

I guess I should of added more detail in my experience :) I only have bought 2 items pre ordered at Bestbuy :p I may have been lucky or they may have received pre-authorization by the manufacturer. Halo 3 was one item the other was a TV :) Sorry if I was a little misleading.

Addition:
The reason I got Halo 3 there was because I preordered the TV and received early. Also heard through the grapevine that Bestbuy might prerelease Halo 3. Once Bestbuy puts the Incredible on Preorder (hoping they do) I will make sure to preorder through them.

Please remember, my trusted SOURCE also indicated that Best Buy will be getting the phone on the 25th as well - and this was some 3 weeks ago....

I think that "garbage" was the word that could have been otherwise stated - even with the :rolleyes: face thrown in there. Without Steven, Kappy and Wood being MAJOR parts of this thread and keeping it afloat and upbeat, I, for one, wouldn't find it much fun to keep up with page after page. You three guys are awesome in my book!!

I think it's in my best interest to stay away from your baiting and posting in general. I am not feeling warm and fuzzy feelings in my heart toward you about now, fwiw.

Furthermore, there is a difference between OT and "garbage", one is true while the other is nasty.
