Official HTC Inspire Gingerbread Update Rumor Thread

no joy for me yet. OTA update would be sweet. gonna checkin and check for update as often as I can..... they better choose me soon.
 
My GPS is so so. Of course with wifi on its flawless. But without it I have a 50/50 shot of it getting an accurate location. Right now it has me in the middle of a lake 3 streets away...

If you lived in the desert like I do, you'd be happy to be in a lake! AHAHA! ;-)
 
ahhhh the moment ive been waiting for, got 3 htc inspires today, one for wife one for me and one for a freind, mine found update out of box, wifes did not, will have to manualy do that one and am dl file now,and freinds did not, sent her link to this forrum though (hey at least im not rooting this one out of the box like i did my lg optimus u that this is replacing lol)
 
So has anyone else had their call log info disappear? When I noticed I missed a call I tapped it it took me to the dialer like normal where my calls are usually listed only its a white screen with the dial pad. I actually have to tap the phone/pad icon to the right of the green call button for it to show my call history.
 
Does anybody know if the OTA or the new download on the htc site fixes the bugs with the leaked one that was only on the site for an hour?

It happened to me starting the dialer from launcher pro, dialer was fine with htc launcher.

In lp I re-created the dock shortcut to phone and it was fine after that. (I changed it to start a game instead then changed it back to phone)

(I gave up launcher pro shortly after for go launcher because of some lp app drawer probs that started with this update and I'd been wanting to fully try go for a while)

Thank you, I thought I saw someone mention the dialer problem but in 180 posts its hard to find but I found it right after you replied.
 
Ok I just updated my inspire n so far so good but one question is does anyone know now that I have gingerbread on phone can i get sense 3.0
 
To heck with waiting for ATT.............. I just did mine manually and so far so good. I'll know more through the coming days as I use features. Already go the Amazon App Store! woohoo!! lol

Love how the MMS is setup when sending and recieving pics......... no more silly slidshows!!!!!!!
 
I don't like the scrolling of apps by page. But if you change it to List mode it is the old way where you can scroll several pages with a quick flick. Anyone know if it can be made to do the quick-scroll with the grid? Is this a 'feature' of GB or HTC Sense?
