Late to the party, but went ahead and ordered the 32GB in Bright Red from the Play Store. Should get it sometime next week. Only other color choice was white, which IMO would have shown dirt too easily.
Pretty excited about getting it.

and it'll be her backup if (when, LOL) her red one needs replacing
.
thanks
Well I'm ordering a nexus 5 next week, haven't decided on color and or memory! D: What are you guy's thoughts? I think black 16gb, how About you all?thanks

I have a black 32gb version which is goof for me. I don't think I could swing 16 GB but that's just me. This phone is amazing and obviously has a great development community. I imagine we might see a ROM from you??
I hate cases but ordered a spigen neo hybrid which adds minimal bulk. Still prefer to keep it naked as much as possible though. Good choice, sir. :thumb:
thanks, as far as a ROM goes, possibly, gotta get my hands on that beautiful deviceHangouts just added the ability to call over data, but I'm not 100% sure if that includes WiFi or not. But I believe with a Google Voice number you have always been able to do WiFi calling. You just have to set up your account info in the dialer settings. There is WiFi calling though?
Thanks for looking into if for me Brian, I appreciate it with my L70 in my house, NO service, sometimes if im lucky i'll get 1-2 bars other than that im on wifi for calling I hear the Neuxs has a better signal? I hope soHangouts just added the ability to call over data, but I'm not 100% sure if that includes WiFi or not. But I believe with a Google Voice number you have always been able to do WiFi calling. Hmmm. I'm not sure. I thought it said WiFi calling in the article???Hi Brian, Isn't that article referring to calling via a SIP? I thought that was different than VoIP calling via hangouts - for hangouts, I thought we needed to download the hangouts dialer app and use that (it does work over WiFi and also works fine over reasonably fast mobile data)
(or did I misunderstand the article?)
Ordered a black 32gb nexus 5 today!
You're going to love it!!!
y'all are awesomeNice!I bought a pre-owned 32 GB Nexus 5 with extras this week and it should arrive tomorrow. It's replacing a Galaxy Nexus.
It arrived and I'm pleased with it. It came with a couple of cases, screen protectors and a wireless charger.
My GNex has been good, but is showing its age compared to newer, higher spec phones.
Just need to sort out a Micro SIM to be able to use it properly and see how the battery performs with my normal use.
Spoke to them today and they said it would take about 20 minutes for the changeover.Go to your carrier and get a new SIM.
