Amazon, because it was the only available preorder at the time. I imagine that they have to get their stock from HTC before they ship... On preorder day they said they would ship today, but I should have known better. HTC is shipping today and is probably the quickest source. It shouldn't be too much longer though. :D

You ordered from amazon and play, correct?
 
was with amazon first but they did not have a firm date, so bailed and went to goog.

best buy is clearly the winner here. i will pre order the lte version from bby and eventually sell the wifi only model...

I bought mine today for 200. Got 2 day shipping so it should be here Thursday or Friday :) looking forward to using it as a laptop replacement
 
I ordered one on 10/25 from Amazon, but as of yesterday it was still awaiting a ship date. I ordered from the Play store yesterday, and it arrived today. So far loving it! The larger size is nice, still fits in a purse, and is light enough that reading for long periods won't be a problem.

I had a Nexus 7 2012 (grandson dropped that one), and replaced it with a 2013, which got stuck in a bootloop and wouldn't even reset.
 
Finally got a confirmation from Amazon. I ordered on 10/17 and my estimated arrival is November 11th. I'm a little irritated but at least the wait will be over pretty soon. Was hoping to play with it this weekend though.
 
OMG OMG OMG. Picked one up at my local Best Buy tonight! Went in tonight to get the wife a new iPad Air 2 (trading in her iPad 2), and while the guy was getting the iPad out of the cage I asked him if he knew when they would get any Nexus 9's in. He said, "We just put the demo out about 30 minutes ago, and I think we have one 32gb black in stock." I asked him if he was joking and he said no.

I had been waiting to trade in my iPad 2, but was waiting until the 9 was in stock because I didn't want to be without a tablet. He confirmed they had one left, and I told him I'd be back with my iPad in 20 minutes. 25 minutes later I was walking out of BB with a new Nexus 9.

He told me they only had 4 of them among all of the 19 stores in the greater Cleveland area. I would have had to drive at least 30+ minutes to get one of the other three. My lucky day. It's downloading an update now. I'm off to go install apps and get me some lollipop while I wait for it to show up on my Nexus 5. Joy!

I confess I have been on the fence for awhile, but I also haven't felt warm and fuzzy about people's reactions to the Nexus 9. Despite all that, it's hard to not go for a Nexus just because, well, it's a Nexus. However, I really wanted a tablet with more storage which means a sd card slot. Today I ran across a deal for the Samsung Galaxy TAB S 10.5 ( $355 + free shipping) and took it. No more super-easy rooting and updates for now, but it's a good tablet and I'm told the screen is amazing. And I still have my Nexus 5.

I will still be visiting here and keeping an eye on things. ;)
 
Gave the N10 to my sister and bought the 9. I love it, as with any device though I have a minor gripe and that is the buttons being so flush.

Double tap to screen on is a godend on this tablet, also now got double tap to off using the Knock Lock app :D

I was concerned I'd miss the Nexus 10 but I'm happy I went for the 9 now.
 
My nexus 9 32gb black camemin yesterday, early Christmas present from my gf. I love it, it's my first tablet. I have always been a fan if the nexus series.

Mine popped up as Out for Delivery this morning :) I waited... The Post woman showed up & I checked the mail box.. Nothing in there Nexus 9 sized :(
20 minutes later she pulled up in the yard with my N9 :) :) :) She just had her hands full.
Plugged up to charge, did the setup up & updated to 5.0.1 - I Love this thing so far...
Minimal light bleed on a black screen but I really don't mind that at all.
Thinking about Un-locking but worried about voiding the warranty this early - I paid for that on my N7 2012 :(
 
Just ordered mine. Wasn't an easy purchase and i had it in my amazon cart for awhile but couldn't press the "Place Order" button. Finally did after seeing that updates had improved a bit of the performance issues. This is my first Nexus device expected to arrive tomorrow on one day shipping. Thank the Lord for Amazon prime! Not sure if i'll root it as i have done with previous androids (mostly samsung) as the only reason i rooted those was for the latest android version. Won't have to worry about that with a nexus tab. Hope to get some major studying done on this beast with the keyboard case!
