But it can't be far away because the leak is real good. If they gonna spend another 1 to 2 months on improving it then I can't wait until its released.

I am running ADWLauncher with an ICS theme. It'll do till the official release.
Its not happening, Motorola is just now sending out soak test updates for .181, not ICS. Its going to be months before ota ICS. If you want ICS now with motoblur, use the leaked copy. Been using it and it's wonderful.
Sent from my DROID RAZR MAXX running ICS using Tapatalk 2 Beta-5
*sigh* I go through this every single time I get a new phone! For once I would like to see event dates and not have to deal with all the hoax announcements (Best Buy) and rumored release dates that end up being wrong because the release dates are big secret. Come on, I'm not asking for an exact date.. just tell us "Ok, we are running the soak test between this and this date. If there are no issues deployment will begin within two weeks. We will announce a new estimated soak date if issues do crop up."
I figured the BB one was a hoax from the start.. come on.. Best Buy announces it but no word from VZ or Motorola? Just a tad suspicious.
A new leaked best buy image, shows Razr ICS delayed, but Rezound getting ICS today.
Android 4.0 arriving for HTC Rezound today, Droid RAZR update delayed -- Engadget
Sucks for y'all cause I'm running ICS that's for the RAZR from Motorola! Its pretty stable a few bugs but very close to a finished product. It's good enough for me to not even miss GB and GB is real good on the RAZR! I never really thought that it would be released today maybe in a couple of weeks or a month from now.
Radios are strong, Blurwich is really nice, fast and smooth, and ICS is sexy! The overall speed and function of the phone is better. Quad GB 2500, Quad ICS 2900!
For me I don't need 181 not going back to GB but if their is a way(and I know it will) to get 181 and get back my ICS then I'm good but if not sticking with ICS!
LOL, again, until it's officially announced from Moto or VZW, no sense putting any stock into leaked documents from an after seller of phones.
where can i download and install 4.0 myself? what bugs were you talkin about? tnx.
When I first got my MAXX it was on GB 2.3.5...within a day i was getting prompts for an update (2.3.6). I checked NO everytime the offer came up so I could get some time to explore 2.3.5 in order to see if there were any obvious differences between that and the newer version available. Well long story short...at some point i was not paying attention, assumably I got another prompt to install but missed it...and the update installed automatically. I guess if I had to answer your question based on what I personally experienced it would be that you can hold it off for some time--but the update is inevitable and will be pushed to your phone. Of course I am talking about a stock MAXX not rooted or modified in any way.For those that are dependent/use FoxFi, do know that those with the leaked ICS installed on their Maxx say FoxFi no longer works. I emailed FoxFi and their rep says they are looking into it. They said hold off on installing ICS if I needed FoxFi.
?... are updates like ICS, etc. pushed and install without phone owner accepting the install?
If I remember correctly an update will not install unless you say yes???
Out of curiosity is there any evidence that the supposed Rezound update came to pass? I did a quick google search and didn't see anything.
So I probably should stop getting all my information from Screen Caps of unverified internal Best Buy memos?Just checked the AF Rezound forum, and no word over there about it at all. My guess is no dice. And going into a holiday weekend wouldn't be the best time to run a large scale update anywho. YMMV.
