**** OFFICIAL **** ICS COMING SOON thread... Post all questions and info here!!!!

It may be that you are registered for the feedback network but you also have to register your phone so they know which one you have. That's my situation. I'm registered with the feedback network but I still need to register my phone.

Looks like product registration is working again. I was finally able to register my DRM with Motorola and opted-in to the Motorola Feedback Network.

I was wondering why I haven't received the update yet. If this is really the soak test and not the full rollout, I sure wish the companies involved (I'm talking to you, Motorola and Verizon), as well as the blogs would be a bit more clear.

Webtop on gingerbread gave a full Firefox browser that worked great and you could add many plugins. There was also some popular apps that function very nicely. With the change to ICS all you get now is ICS extended to a larger screen which is no different than having a tablet. Since I already have a tablet it made my lapdocks pointless.

I found that if you are using Citrix, you need to install Firefox Beta to have it work. I find using Citrix now easier and less cumbersome.

Where does the June 27th date come from?

No ICS yet in Denver

Ya man... I live in Colorado Springs and i haven't gotten it yet either. But the 27th comes from an email that the soak testers got saying that the "general" release would be on the 27th. I'm sorry if i got that info wrong, but i think i read that on a droid life comment.

Since this is a major upgrade as opposed to a bug fix I think it prudent to assume that the SOAK test will probably run for another day or two. If we further assume that no major bugs have been uncovered this would support a projected release date for ICS of the 27th.

After searching for "RAZR June 27th" I found a few lesser known sources that point to that date... but no big-name sources. Hmmmmmm

I just ended a call with Verizon tech support (getting a Razr Maxx) and he told me that the Razr and Razr Maxx is getting ICS right now. I asked about a SOAK test and he explained that it was finished a little while ago. So this is a full roll out of ICS right now. He also explained that the roll out, as usual, is not location based in anyway and has to do with your serial number.

I asked about the SOAK test and he told me that it was over. He told me that this is a full roll out of ICS of both devices. He also said that due to the number of devices receiving the update that it will take about a month for the full roll out. Also, the roll out, as usual, is not location based.

And like some observant folks noticed in one forum.....alot of ppl that said they got it....all of sudden went missing...lol. Or those that said they got it....didnt post any details through out the day....lol.

I believe some got the update before getting the email or checked for the email from Motorola forums. That also caused some confusion. I know my power was down right when all this happened, down for almost a whole day.

There is definitely a soak test for it.

What details do you want? I've got it (wife hasn't yet)....

Yup, I'm stuck in a wormhole in a state of suspended animation. I jumped the gun when I got the update notification on my phone at about 9am and then realized I had received an email at midnight.

All is well and I'm still alive....

Has anyone had any luck doing a *#*#checkin#*#* to force the update?

I've tried a few times but with no success. I'm just calmly waiting now - after so many months of rumors I'm satisfied enough to just know that it's DEFINITELY going to be here very soon.

I was finally able to register my phone today, but no e-mail about ICS. I suppose that I signed up too late to get it early.

Well, I got impatient and installed the OTA with the Batman utility. Worked great. I'd recommend it if anyone else is as impatient as me.
