Not according to the emails I read, and the warning you get before the update.
But, if you don't like ICS its because you hate a smoother, cleaner, faster phone.

You could by rooting your phone and installing a stock Gingerbread ROM. But ICS is just a heck of a better operating system. I remember when I first used it on my Touchpad, I thought: "This is how Android was meant to be."

I posted this on the official I got ics link...But for those of you who have it can please comment on the camera. Did it get any better? I am considering the SIII or waiting for the Razr HD, but if this makes the camera better I will get this before I lose unlimited data. I take a ton of pics and love everything about the Maxx, but the camera is the only knock. I keep testing them at the store and burst shots are blurry and dark on normal.

The camera seems the same as with GB, the focus might be quicker but it wasn't that slow before IMO.

I did the sideload with the Droid RAZR utility, if you're itching that bad for ICS I say do that, its pretty simple and its the OTA release.

Hey anyone here about the Canadian carriers updating the RAZR's to ICS? i have been looking for some news but found nothing...

Well, I'm not in the soak test and I received my "update available" for ICS early on 6/23. The amount of misleading information surrounding this release has been astounding (not accusing you of being misleading, though . . . you're just passing it on :D)

Me too on the update, got it Friday June 22.

Moto's survey (sent last night while I slept) said their survey results would determine IF there was a carrier rollout or not. The Verizon rep is a little bit ahead of the curve on this one, I think. Soak test is not officially complete until they get all the survey results in, and the email with survey link said they wanted us to try to complete it by midday today. So, the full carrier rollout is most likely not underway yet.

I agree. It's a little ridiculous. First it was Late March, then Early May, then maybe June....now whenever.

Not a big deal. I'm not going to hold my breath. I'll get it when I get it. Otherwise, I'll go crazy checking my phone every hour.

I bought my Maxx in early May. Does this mean I'm at the back of the line? Or can I go to my local VZW Store and say "I want my ICS. Make it go. Shut up and take my money!"

Probably not. The roll out happens more or less randomly. It's possible their going in order of the Serial Number, so you might be towards the end (depending on when you're phone was made). But it is definitely not pushed out based on your purchase date.

No, the store can't give you ICS. You'll have to wait for it to reach you. Or you can install it manually (there is a thread stickied on top describing how to do that).

I mean we are being updated. I'm currently typing from ics 4.0.4 on my Droid RAZR MAXX. And I got it OTA

Sent from my iPhone RAZR MINN iOS 4.0.4
