since im a current customer, what would i need to do to change over to a BYOD phone?
Buy a sim card and call metro to activate it. Don't go to the store just call metro. You will save $15 dollars.

No matter what his plan would change to $50 since the $45 plan isnt available for BYOD I believe.
Heya,
I was wondering if this phone will work on metropcs, i got the old CDMA S3 and was thinking of making the change to a GSM phone. If possible id like to get this as my GSM,
So can it?

Wrong.
He can use either of the $40, $50 or $60 plans.
It's right there on the webpage when you hit BYOD.

unless its a multi-line account, if I'm not mistaken(I'm pretty sure I'm not), the person will get there $5, so technically they could have a $45 plan
True but I interpreted his statement as having the old $45 promo plan which cannot be grandfathered in to the BYOD. Thus, he would have to switch to the $50 to get a comparable level of service. Maybe I just read too far into it.
Can you just goto any meyro store and.buy a sim? Or will they try.to make you get.a plan or.something?
I believe that you can purchase online at MPCS for a total of $10.60
That is what I did, I am already a customer though. I don't know if that makes a difference.
In the store wants you to have your phone so they can activate it for a fee.
Where can you order the Sim on the website? I've been looking and I can't find it..
Thanks! And 33321
Lol yup. Another question I have if you can answer.. I've seen people post fast T-Mobile lte speeds in the sfl area. Since we're on metro do we get slower speeds than T-Mobile? Or will it be about the same. I know we're shared networks but still.
Its the same. Super fast.
I will readily admit that is (so far as I'm concerned) the Theoretical answer.
Until I see a Metro and T-Mo GSM side by side speedtest, I remain unconvinced. (That that's not mo juice in da booster on T-Mo .)

Already did it, two of the same phones, both S4's, one metro branded, one t-mobile branded, same speeds.
That's good to hear can't wait to try it out.
One had a Metro Sim and the other had a T-Mo Sim?
