Amazon added more accessories, including the Amzer cases that many people purchased for the EVO. I don't really like having cases on my smartphones, but just in case anybody else was looking at other case options:
Amazon.com: motorola photon 4g - Cell Phones & Accessories
Does this battery fit our Photons...or just the Droids...
Amazon.com: Motorola OEM Droid X / MB810 BH5X Battery: Cell Phones & Accessories
Has anyone tried the Amzer cases? I really like the flexible silicone/rubber type of cases. I just bought the Motorola Photon and I am currently using the silicone case that I used for my HTC EVO. Believe it or not, it fits. Unfortunately, the holes are not in the right place so if I want to plug it in, I will have to remove the silicone glove.
I was hoping someone else had already bought the Amzer case and could give me a review.
Thanks,
Kim
From what some have reported, it doesn't fit.
Just wanted to add some updated information on the cheap screen protector I purchased from Amazon...It scratches easily!...LOL. I don't mean just cosmetic, I mean physically you can feel deep scratches. I already have a couple (must've brushed my keys against the screen without realizing it).
Anyhow, still holding out hope for sgp to make one.

Thanx..
There's sum 1900's on Ebay too...Don't know if they fit either...
Waitin on Seidio to cum out with sum...Hopin they'll make a 3500 like they did for the EVO 4g...Thats all I need to make me happy...just like it did on the EVO I had...That battery kicked ass...
How do the Seido ones hold up? You mentioned previously they're very similar, does that include durability?
I bought a generic Sprint screen protector when I bought my phone (mainly just to get a discount on the car dock, was still cheaper than buying the dock by itself) but have not installed them yet. Not sure if I will yet, but exploring options.
Related: does anyone know if you return one accessory bought under the "buy two get a discount" program, do you have to pay back the difference? It would be rather unfortunate if returning the unused screen protectors actually cost me money.![]()
Saw those. I'm not convinced those are compatible, but if you're willing to be the guinea pig and try, I'm sure your input would be appreciated.
I just might do that...Hey they're cheap...So I can't lose much ...The only thing is that they are comin from Hong Kong and shipment time is like a month...By that time there should be sumthin out there I hope... The EVO's got their stuff out there quick...but they are takin the time with the Photons...But then again it hasn't been out that long...
Bummer...well, I'll probably pawn it off to my coworkers who all have droids.Link? If you're talking about this one:
Amazon.com: Motorola OEM Droid X / MB810 BH5X Battery: Cell Phones & Accessories
That's not the correct battery and a few people had confirmed that neither this nor BH6X worked with the MoPho.
Yeah, and the phone was originally marketed as going to have one which is another let down. It would be interesting to see if the Bionics laptop dock is cross compatible without some Jury rigging.None yet, ehich sucks knowing the Bionic is coming out with one.
TS out
just saw them hitting ebay but with lower Mah?
NEW 3X 1500MAH BATTERY+CHARGER FOR MOTOROLA PHOTON 4G | eBay
Just purchased these this morning.
Given that my wife and my sister in law all have this product (for their evo 4g's), i don't think there will be much of an issue.
3 batteries, even at 1500 mAh for 13 bucks is more than reasonable.
I'll let you folks know how it goes.
Looking at the renders....
Motorola DROID Bionic product renders leak out ahead of September launch | PhoneDog
looks like the ports are on the same side... and in the same config.. just lower. So.. hopefully we might be able to shoe horn our Photons in their lapdock... I'm hoping of course
