Official Release Date Rumor Thread

"They deserve a loss of sales overseas for the godawful wait over here." That any more clear?

Yes, I got it. Exactly why it makes no sense. Haha.

Watching the live stream right now......I guess it starts at 6:30.

Nevermind. The live stream apparently isn't live. Gonna have to wait 3 weeks to buy it. AT&T going 4.3" is a beautiful thing.

Chalk me up as another person really bummed of the AT&T attain is 4.5" versus 4.3.

Mr. Ed had said in a prior post with his experince that the screen of the SGS2 he looked at had sharper text and Icons than the Infuse. If that really IS the case, then I don't see that being possible if both screens are 4.5" and 480 X 800.

It's a completely different screen Super Amoled plus or something

not to mention it's stretched across 4.3" instead of 4.5" ...but I don't know how big of a difference that would make

Ahhhhhhhhrg My computers at work have NO SOUND lol

YES YES YES! 4.3 OH YEAH! And the date is close!

Where are you guys getting the 4.3 from?

"During a press event in New York City on Tuesday, Samsung officially took the wraps off of its U.S. GALAXY S II smartphone family. Sprint

"Look for it to land on September 18th with pricing to be announced later." for AT&T
So, no LTE, no 1.5... why did you have to wait all this time to give it to us?

I'm waiting for him to say "one more thing" ;)
Glad the 4.5" rumors weren't true. I would still have got it, but 4.3" is perfect for me. I have closed my office door and locked myself in for the video.
Matt

i didn't get to watch the announcement-i'm at work. did they mention anything about the sgh-i927? i was thinking they might, as it's also slated for release in q3.

Well, it's a semi-disappoint in that we didn't get any upgraded features over the rest of the world, but I will say that I'm glad to be on AT&T. I much prefer the slightly smaller screen, smaller rounded edges, and the thinnest phone ever! Along with that, I assume it will weigh next to nothing too.

The date is further out than I would have liked, but at least we FINALLY have a date!

So...........what is the release date for AT&T? Sorry at work and trying to stay updated lol.

No idea..watching on my phone and it's choppy and it keeps playing commercials lol.

someone posted somehting about the 18th

damn customers keep coming in
