Hi,
It might sound stupid but this is my first android device ( i bought it just yesterday) and i am learning everyday. I would really appreciate if someone tells me how to view the call duration for each call (both incoming and outgoing). I couldn't find it in the menu and i don't know how to enable this feature where duration of calls are showed just after hanging up after each call.

Go into your dialer (Push the big Phone button). Then long press on the contact you want a call log on. Then push "View Call History".

Alternatively, you can go into the "People" app, and look at the bottom. You should see 3 options, one will be a piece of paper with a phone on it. That is your call log.

So here's my latest doosey...I can't call Sprint customer service from my EVO. Not by dialing *2 or the 888-211-4727 number.

I remember reading somewhere on here about this but I can't find it. So I apologize in advance if this has been covered. I changed the vocoder and proxy settings via ##DATA# as per forum advice but I'm convinced this is why I can't call Sprint.

Either way, customer service says the only way to fix this is by doing a factory reset. I like having better voice quality, streaming quality AND being able to call customer service from my phone. Is there another way to fix this? If I do a factory reset, im gonna want to change those settings again and if l can't call Sprint as a result, I'm not sure what to do. I don't have a landline. Anyone?

I am having this problem also. I had a factory reset done and it worked for a while then came back. Anyone know how to solve this? Sprint has no clue how to fix this.
 
Try opening the app "Sprint Zone" and tap the option "I Need Help" and see what that does for you. It should also connect you with Sprint Customer service.
 
I just did a Factory reset and it still won't work. I'm going to take this in to the store and have them give me another one.

Hopefully it is a defective unit and that fixes it...because I'm not sure how to correct that problem :\
 
I noticed that you can still call the sprint bill-pay number (800) 639-6111 because they'll always make it convenient for you to pay them lol and you can just say oops, I meant to call customer service and they'll connect you. I had a feeling that factory reset would have fixed it but like mentioned, the problem eventually will continue.

If you're in Sacramento, maybe it is the handset. I got mine in Redding and that's only two hours away...

My latest concern is my screen won't tilt anymore. Only the video player tilts to opposite sides, but it won't tilt online or in settings, messages, gallery or other apps where I'm used to tilting my phone. WTF?

The 1-800-639-6111 number is the one I use. But none of the * numbers work for me. I am sure it is the handset.

I would take the phone in if it not tilting. That is must for me. Is it tilting when you play games?
 
I'm sorry, I meant it won't landscape when I tilt the phone horizontally, that's what I meant by tilting. My bad. In my next post, tilting means landscaping. Sorry.
 
It's only tilting when it absolutely has to, media player or camera or 3D pictures. Everything else will only stay vertical. This is annoying and it just started happening today.

I think what I mean to say is that it won't go into landscape mode...
 
OK. Easy fix. Settings/Display/Auto-Rotate/Enable by checking... Sorry for continually blabing on this forum and not having my info together but It's the only way I learn. Unfortunately I can't find a delete button for my posts lol
 
Hey everyone. I'm having a problem with my memory card. Everytime I play a few specific games, my phone tells me my memory cards been removed. It happens again and again and I dont know how to fix it. This doesnt happen with all games. Only Spiderman and Blood n Glory. What do I do?
 
Hello!

Please help me retrieve the default pictures in my 3D Gallery.

I was deleting some pictures in my HTC EVO 3D and when it completely processed the deletion even the pictures that I did not select was deleted.

I already tried to retrieve the pictures from my SD card, but the pictures in 3D were no longer 3D. :(

I tried to go to the shop to restore the factory settings (including default pictures), but they said they can't since the default pictures were saved in SD. All they can restore was the phone settings.

Does anyone know where I can download the default pictures?
Or anywhere possible I can get one?

Hi! I moved your thread into this one, as I have a pretty well established FAQ here. What you're looking for is 2.10). It includes just the pictures. The Green Hornet movie will have to be downloaded from HTC Watch. Hope this helps :)

I don't know why you can't post a thread, that seems odd. Try making a new one and see if it allows you now that you have a post.

My phone isn't up to date on its HTC software and it refuses to update.
I've been trying all day to update, thinking maybe I'm way behind and it'll be a long process
but whenever I press "check now"... a box appears stating "checking..." and that's it.
The phone stays that way. It's not frozen... it seems like it's actually searching but it's taking so long.

I've shut off the phone and removed the battery (slow count to 20) and then retried with no affect (effect?)
Not sure what else to do... any suggestions?
 
I don't remember ever seeing htc watch on my 3VO. I deleted green hornet, might have something to do with it. Play Store asks to upgrade Sprint tv all the time but I can't find htc watch anywhere. When I search for it all that comes up is Blockbuster for htc and apps like that. Is it an apk?

Problem:
I bookmarked the phereo 3D website and accidentally selected the Phereo 3D app when asked to chose by default for which action (internet or the app). Now whenever I bookmark that particular site and click on that bookmark, all I get is a 'Link format is not recognized' message because it keeps trying to open the app instead of the website by default.

Anyway, it sucks and I've tried clearing the internet and bookmark data/cache/defaults several times and still the same message shows whenever I add a bookmark and click on it for that website only. I've tried adding a bookmark from the widget and from the browser. Oh and I can still visit the site just fine but not through a bookmark???? Any suggestions other than factory reset?

Can you browse the internet normally? If so, it's probably being blocked by a firewall somewhere. Either on your home router, your carrier (if you're using 3G), or your internet provider (if you're using wifi). I would have to know more information about your set up to even attempt to help you, and I'm not sure that I could if you did provide the info. Try going to a wifi cafe and see if you can check for updates there.

Either you can uninstall the phereo 3d app or go into settings > Applications > manage applications > phereo 3d and clear defaults.

I've tried in both 3G and WiFi. I took your advise and tried it under a different WiFi source. Still no luck. I emailed HTC about it. They pretty much said to do a soft reset (didn't work) then try a factory reset. To contact them again if that doesn't work. Not too excited about doing a factory reset.
