we all need these to laugh and release some built up energy.. especially when KOBE LOST the game tonight... OK my bag for going off topic... :(

By going off topic you fringe on the Transylvania 65000 patent. You may not go pass go, the $200 you would have collected goes for another android fan user for their LTEvo and you loose your place in line.

Also, you must be an apple for Halloween.
:driver:

OT,

EM
actually EM i spell that on purpose believe it or no. i know a cat who says that instead of "bad" (i.e. "ooh my bad..." he would say "ooh my bag.."), so i say that in honor of him.. :D but thank you for taking care of me..
/OT

In that case, only some Nexus love can save us from the Apple faithful -

And speaking meteorologically, I will NEVER correct you again! ;) :D :D

US Customs is holding me up while they grope my sh*t.
No wonder, it's the sister agency of the TSA!
This is starting to make sense...

I seriously hope Apple starts to get hammered for their antitrust violations (though this one will be tough). First the *alleged* conspiracy with publishers against Amazon for ebook sales, and now this. The Govt really needs to take them down a few notches.\

Edit: Strange, my pic vanished

HTC One X and EVO 4G LTE Shipping with Custom Software Builds To Work Around Apple Patent http://phandroid.com/?p=95223

So nostalgic (& entertaining) to have Willy Wonka, Spock, Daleks, & the Kool-Aid man all on here tonight :D
**side note: one of the characters in Criminal Minds was dressed as the Tom Baker "Dr Who" in one scene in tonight's episode.... Tom Baker = best Dr Who ever!! "Jelly baby?" :p

Keep 'em coming, we have some time to kill until there's more news on our phones

It's all about Jon Pertwee, my good man.

Watch all of our pre ordered LTEVO are going to show up with sticky stuff on them because the U.S. Customs inspector couldn't control themselves over the sheer awesome-ness of LTEVO. :p. Okay if that does happen, I am taking mine back...LOL, who am I kidding :D

"We Shall Over Come"

Even though I hate the 21st century Apple, I have admiration for Steve Jobs and what he accomplished. Hell, I played Snakebyte like it was heroin on an Apple IIe in 2nd grade in the 80s.

...I see this latest thing with Apple being a clear chink in the armor of what is the ongoing process Apple's eventual, overall downfall. The Steve Jobs I know wouldn't have resorted to pathetic and cheap tactics like what is happening here. He was more of a gloves off type of a guy when he was truly running the company (which he really wasn't over the last 2 - 3 years). He went up against IBM, Xerox, Microsoft, etc. and his products spoke louder than words.

The inevitable is that a single product (meaning iPhone) cannot compete with the absolute onslaught of superior Android products coming from myriad companies who are each striving to out-compete one another on the same OS.

If I owned Apple stock, which I do not, I would get out....and get out now.

p.s. - I wrote this post before the post above...getting a chuckle out of these images.

Actually, these pathetic and cheap tactics are right up Jobs's alley. Read up on Apple's history a little bit-- I'm sure you'll be pretty surprised.

Steve Wozniak was responsible for the "good" part of Apple. Jobs was a crook and a tyrant.

I feel we need to support Sprint and HTC. I'm no company nut-hugging fanboy but I'd hate to see (rotten) Apple's actions be successful in damaging two companies who I feel are offering a superior product. HTC's stock has already taken a big hit from this and it's a result of Apple's "patent" on a common sense feature. Not to mention our new phone's will be crippled(not that it's a major feature, but it should be there) due to HTC's effort to work around the patent. I understand people's frustration with not getting an immediate refund for cancelling the pre-order but I imagine it's a big deal to make a major change to policy and practice in a large scale operation. Also, by cancelling your pre-order, Apple wins. Sprint, a company who is not in the greatest financial shape, is a pretty good alternative to the higher rates and data overage fees of competetors who are successful because sheeple will pay more for less. HTC, who analysts have been crapping on for a while because they've been in a relatively short term period of less profit between major offerings, is a pretty good alternative to overpriced, small screened, proprietary sheeple phones. So I'd recommend focusing our frustration on those who deserve it. Give the people at Sprint a break. We'll all get our phones relatively soon. Instead, I think Apple deserves to have their phone lines occupied with our voices. This also hurts Google in a less direct way. I hope they do a bully beatdown on Apple in support of HTC.

Welcome to forums Ink313 !!!

I think you'll find some helpful and like minded folks here :). Apple's latest and most desperate attempt to thwart a superior HTC product has been put to the stake and flamed thoroughly in previous posts. Members in previous post have talk about putting petitions together. Also been recommendatiom about calling your local representatives and vent on the phone there. I think you'll find some entertaining posts as well.

Welcome Aboard :D

6AM Update: HTC Gets help from Economics Minister – & Warehouse Info Inside Sprint Now

Supposedly the economic minister of Taiwan is offering HTC some help here.

I'm not surprised. I'll bet they've about had it over there.

Here's a video on that UPS facility that he mentions - UPS Delivers for Sprint - UPS Pressroom

Wish we had better news already. :(

Meanwhile, on the comedy front, here's why Apple is scared.

Warning - not safe for work -
