Help ***Official*** Status of your Droid X order thread

I was wondering if anyone could help because I ordered mine in store on 7/16 right when it opened so I wanted to know if anyone ordered that day and has got theirs already? Im located in the the northern illinois area if that helps.

Glad to see you got your shipping notification, but also bummed that I ordered mine almost a full 24 hours before hand, and still haven't seen my FedEx info. I hope I don't see any small children today, because all of this makes me want to punch an infant. In the face.
 
I received mine yesterday here in Ohio. Ordered over the phone and within an hour got the tracking info. Guy gave me order number over the phone. I ordered mine on the 15th at around 10-11 am I believe.

Forgive me to being more than a little peeved to hear of your good fortune. Its not reasonable, but it is there nonetheless. Ordered mine on 7/15 before 3:30PM (that's the timestamp from the confirmation email) and yet....nothing. Called customer service today. No help whatsoever, other than to tell me that we are looking at 7/27, in place of the earlier rumored 7/23, which was in turn in place of the 7/16 ship date stated quite clearly on the website at the time of order.

The Verizon Order Status page shows:
"Order Status: Your order has been processed and will be shipped based on inventory availability and shipping method. You will receive shipment notification and tracking details via email."
 
Ordered in store on the 19th. Went for my upgrade so i received $100 discount plus $100 mail in rebate. Woulda upgraded early but was told i'd miss out on my instant $100 off...

Was told it would be shipped out by the 27th while in the store. Called verizon today to see if there was a site i can check my order from instead of waiting for this email showing tracking information.... the rep on the phone told me i should get it sent out by the 23rd? Maybe he was misunderstood but would be awesome if true....

Will keep ya'll updated

Those who ordered the 16th-19th by the 27th and after that by 8/3. I have seen several people in my area get shipping confirms. All depends on what part of the country you are in as well. Per the above i got the shipping confirmation just now that it was picked up in PA Ordered on the 15th in NY will have phone by tomorrow before 3.

Replacement order placed 7/16/2010 at 3:30 p.m just shipped from Memphis. Only problem is the Telesales lady that handled this chose 2 day free shipping. My order is showing estimated ship date of 7/22. I'm hoping I get it tomorrow however.

Just an FYI for those trying to determine when they might get their phone based on order date and time of order.

Mine proccessed around 10pm on the 15th and I'm in NJ. Perhaps I will get one soon as well? I would like to get this tomorrow and stop wondering if its going to be the 23\27 or 8\3,8\10

Good luck. Same distribution center all depends on when order completed and payment taken. I placed order at 1pm and payment processed at 8PM. As long as before midnight on the 15th you should ship by 23rd. Seems like they have the phones available again

I'm in the same boat. I want to know what I need to do as well, and I'm in Highland Park...
 
Online for me - 7:38AM EDT on the 16th (website said "Will be shipped by 7/23")... Still nothing. No shipping notification, no X. :(
 
ordered online some time on the 16th after my local vzw assured me my #3 spot on the hold list would get me one - alas they allegedly only got 2. no tracking yet - not sure if I got in under the 7/23 ship date or 7/27 :(

mine still says that too, eventhough I've gotten both my tracking numbers and theyll be here tomorrow. I dont think that page ever changes.

Ordered the 17th @ 3:30pm online.
Just got shipping confirmation. Forgot to put in the free overnight shipping code so I just chose 2 day.
Fedex is showing it in Memphis right now with a delivery date of
Jul 22, 2010 by 7:00 PM.
Woot cant wait!!!!
 
We ordered my gf's Droid X on Saturday 07/17 on Newegg ($179.99 shipped) and we got the tracking number on Monday morning. Delivery is scheduled for tomorrow (Wednesday 21st)

I'm more excited than she is :D

But I still love my Nexus One.
