Oh yeah I know the place. I'll probably hit up the corporate store in northbrook on lunch. Or order online and have it delivered to work. And for the record I said I work in hp definitely not a HPer.

Since I know of NO ONE else around here who wants a Nexus, I may have to beam with myself :( besides, I need to wait until 10:45 for MY Rep to show up at work. MY Rep gets the commission... UNLESS there is an insanely long line for Nexus and I'm afraid they'll sell out early. But I'll be there at opening to play with the demo and pick out accessories :)

I work in HP, too. Hyde Park! Only a couple days a week, for part of the school year. And I don't live anywhere near there. I also work in Northbrook, occasionally. My job is weird.

If there isn't a pre-order that will get it to me sooner:

It would probably have more phones. I have a corperate discount too and I can only get that at the corp store. Also the non-corp stores have sim card stock issues. Its right down the street so ill head to the south store.

If it's on the 9th, I'll either have the store hold one for me, or pre-order and have it shipped to work. Friday's Christmas party day, and I'm not leaving the office during that. It's almost like a free vacation day.

I will be taking the day off of work and will be there 30 minutes early. The Corporate store opens at 10, so if for some reason the retail store is packed (highly doubt that) I will drive 2 minutes to the Corporate Store and wait the extra hour to be one of the first in line, lol

The same scenario applies for 12/9, too :D Can't wait to get this phone in my hands
 
Assuming it is released this weekend I will probably be picking it up from a friend who works at an indirect dealer instead of the store listed previously. Just thought I'd update for accuracy.
