I hate my EVO because it's the worse phone I've ever owned. My first one would always get stuck in a reboot loop. My second one does not alow me to answer my calls. My wifes phone never rings when calls are incoming and goes right to voice mail. My camara lens fell off for no reason. 4G is a scam. I have a 4G signal and it's no faster than 3G. I tested this theory with one phone on 3g and the other on 4G.
How is it that everyone seems to love this phone so much. Are you all being sarcastic with your positve feedback. I can't wait till I can switch to another phone. Also I take very good care of my phone. never drop it or bang it around. I think HTC dropped the ball on the EVO. I will be switching to the Iphone( I swore I would never own an Iphone). Looks like I'll be eating crow on that one.

Care to elaborate? Seems pretty simple to use if you ask me. Phone rings and I slide the screen down and it freezes at the bottom. Do you suggest that I use two fingers instead of one to answer my phone. Seems to me that it's not user error but crappy product.
Can you explain the camara lens falling off. Is that user error as well? I guess it's also user error that when anyone calls my wifes phone it rings on the callers end then goes to VM after 5-6 rings without her phone ever ringing on her end. Yes the ringer is on.

wow i have read thousands of posts and im pretty sure this is the first negative post i have ever seen. I have never even heard of people having issues like that. Did you root it and f it up?
The only complaint I ever hear is battery life. Are like half a million people wrong and you alone are correct, that the evo is crap? Seems the other way around.
Sounds like you just got yourself a lemon or you really just have no idea how to use a smart phone.

I absolutely love my EVO. I will even go as far as to say I am infatuated with it. I spend my days just wandering thru the market or using Photoshop to create some pretty bitchin' themes for LauncherPro. I dont know what this guys problem is:
It sounds like what me and my dad went thru with our old HTC Heros. Mine worked just fine, had no problems whatsoever. But my dad went thru 3 replacements; buttons fell off, no signal, speaker went out, ran over it with his truck...)

I do agree that some calls jus go straight to VM. But, I think that's Sprint, not the phone itself because it happens on my fianc

I hate that my Evo has to wait for 2.3/Sense2...
I hate my EVO because I stood in line on launch day and received the sixth EVO in Abilene, Texas. I felt so special having an EVO especially since the store sold out of the phone for quite sometime. However, I had to deploy for 6 months beginning last September. After returning home, everyone and their mama has an EVO. Wouldn't be surprised if the president turned in his blackberry for an EVO. Anyway, I hate the EVO because I dont feel special anymore.

Ill say this. The only real problem i had with my Evo was data speed issues. And i think that was more of network issue anyway.
Before I left on my deployment at least 3 people in my flying squadron had the EVO. I tweaked those phones in my squadron to maximize battery power before I deployed. Everyone was amazed with the tweaks I made because battery power was causing problems for people.

I don't hate my evo, but the things I dislike about it, the keyboard sucks! it lags, and is inaccurate, real pain, and there seems to be some weird glitch, sometimes it magically switches to the camera app, odd... today on the phone, accidentally dialed someone while talking on the phone, how does that happen?

I hate my evo because I can't find one reason to hate it. Can't wait for the 3d though I might wait for a while to get it cause I love my shit so much!!!!!!!¡!
