Root Ok Gingerbread questions...

sbf can be found pretty easily. No need to do it now if your already on .340. ...with that said however it's good practice when you see files like that to go ahead and download them and just store them in a folder on your computer. That way if you need them later you already have it.

Yeah I have 3 or 4 SBF files on my computer. I take it the 'maderstock' SBF is the latest and greatest? If so, I suppose I aughta grab it eh?
 
Maderstock is basically the SBF packaged up in an installable .zip file that you can install through Clockwork Recovery.

It's no better or worse than the 2.3.340 SBF you already have. It's exactly the same, just a different delivery mechanism.
