I used root explorer deleted easy wifi and my extras metrobackup.

My Extras, yeah. However, Easy wi-fi is actually a useful app, but it's your phone.
Also, that list is for the LG Optimus (from MetroPCS) which came out November 2010. While many apps of those apps are also on the LG Esteem (from MetroPCS), it's not totally indentical. One example, Polaris Office seems to have replaced Think Free Office on the LG Esteem. Boingo is not on this phone (thank goodness!) and neither is Moca Space -- but other things are. So, that list is not totally accurate.
I also recommend installing something like Titanium Backup to back up all your files before deleting anything. Then, you can restore, if need be.
And take your time. Delete a few first for which you are 100% sure, then go back and clean up a few others. We're already getting people coming in here who deleted necessary files by accident. It's NOT a race.
This is a powerful computer in your hands. Would you go into your Windows directory and and just start deleting stuff you didn't "think" you needed?
