Root [One Click]Esteem Root, Recoveries, Unroot, Etc. All in One Pkg.

Hi every one! I rooted my phone installed TB and Ad free removed bloat ware then i got the FOTA and did the root process again it says root complete phone reboots and all but when I go to use TB or any root apps says acess denied .. I downloaded root check and it says I don't have root here is the log from root check:

Root Access is not properly configured or was not granted.
Superuser.apk - com.noshufou.android.su - version 3.0.5 is installed!
System Environment PATH: /sbin /vendor/bin /system/sbin /system/bin /system/xbin
The adb binary is set to default shell user access as a standard non-root user
Standard su binary location: ls -l /system/bin/su:
-rwxr-xr-x root shell 22228 2011-10-11 12:43 su
Standard su binary location: ls -l /system/xbin/su:
-rwsr-xr-x root shell 26324 2011-10-11 10:06 su
Alternate su binary location:
/sbin/su: Permission denied
Alternate su type binary location:
/system/xbin/sudo: No such file or directory
SU binary not found or not operating properly

any help with this would be appreciated I am thinking maybe doing a factory reset but LG HOME APK I backed up and uninstalled and now i dont have root acces and cant restore it with TB because i dont have root access..

Go into the market and make sure you do not have super user updated in the market, if so, uninstall updates, then run the one click root.
 
Thank you for your help but it did not work I get the same results im thinking if I do a factory reset and then just try to reroot I just need the LG HOME APK.. would u happen to have that ?

I do not, I don't even have an Esteem. I've got the system dump at home that I can pull it from, but I won't be there until tonight. DO NOT wipe data / factory reset until you have LGHome.apk. It will not run!

Now, lg home had nothing to do with root. Go into manage apps, go into all apps, go to super user, clear all data, cache, and uninstall if that is available. Then try again
 
im new at this rooting thing .. i cant get the software to dowan load on my pc and when i click on the link from the post it wont down load .. what did i do wrong ? anyone ?
 
Is this an isolated incident .. how come it seems to have only happened to me... i:p followed the instructions n all.. n I'm not a noob... well not entirely i was running playful gods roms on the ascend.. oh well this is what makes it fun i guess lol..

I'm not sure if adb remount will work to make system writable w/o root. he could def try and see it it will tho. Just connect the phone via usb, make sure debugging is enabled, and type the following:

Code: 
ad remount
And then:

adb push  LGHome.apk /system/app/LGHome.apk
 
Just finished the process on a friends phone and everything worked well....people should be sure to definitely have the drivers loaded up prior to attempting the one-click. Can't wait to see the development of this phone...it's seems to be an awesome device! 512MB of RAM makes me with my Samsung Captivate a bit jealous.
Just wanted to ask if anyone knows how to set up the phone so it does NOT update software/prl's automatically...since the phone does not belong to me I havent had much chance to look thru the phone to any serious extent...thanks again for the one-click and any ideas on the auto update issue would be appreciated!
 
I bought an Esteem yesterday and fortunately had the FOTA update installed in between the moment I activated it and got it home.

First thing I did was root this thing and I'm loving everything about it.

just wanted to give yall an update i tried adb but wont remount with out su .. but I sent a message to miketoolz see what he says.. he did write the root process .. if he cant help then well ill just wait till the stock rom is released and try flashing the boot image (im not sure if I can do that without root but i hope I can lol) my last resort is to do factory reset n since lg home is not installed it will just boot loop ill take it to metro n be like hey I dont know why it stooped working it said something bout an update.. n then ill just claim my manufacturer warranty on it.. any thoughts or suggestions.. ?
 
I was wondering if someone could possibly help me step by step with th rooting process. I'm just so overwhelmed with the different vocabulary terms that go along with phones. Do any of you live near the Berkeley area? I would gladly pay you to help me out. :)

Sinsuni I sent you a message on here under your profile giving you exact directions on how to root your phone. I included pictures of what you need to do as well. Try it out and let me know if it works or if you need any additional help. It is really easy to do.

I followed these instructions and after the OTA push I still do not have root. It shows everything installed and root was successful but when i check for root it says i do not have root access
