The 1/13 that hes running is imnuts its a undervolted kernel, just a heads up not all phones take well to undervolt(mine being one) but thats not to say that I dont recommend everyone that is already running voodoo not to see if they can. But just letting you know to make sure that you leave the kernel that you are running stable on your sd card or make a nandroid before flashing just in case your phone doesnt take it you can flash back.

If you are running imnuts 1/8 forget everything I just said ;)

I am running the imnuts -100 1/8 kernel at the moment and it seems to work well. I had the same one (just novoodoo) prior to the voodoo version and I probably had the best battery life out of the 3 or so other kernels that I tried.

thats a big 10-4 on the anything uv being a no go for me the only ones I had not tried were the imnuts thats y I asked you about them earlier still a no go.... my phone just doesnt like me when I do that to it:(

:(:(:( man thats really too bad. I guess its not an earth shaking difference between stock and uv but it is there a bit depending on use. I assume you have more than one charger then ;)

Home and car and I keep it on both whenever Im near them. Ive never ran into an issue of getting into a bind because of battery it just sucks that I cant do it. I dont like being held back. It amazes me that Im more stable running oc1300 than I am running stock clock with any uv

Yeah you definitely have an OC specialist. Im not sure which I'd rather have massive OC or mega UV. Both have edges. All in all I'm likely the uv since I can unplug longer but whatever

yea and thats why I run the 1200 it gives me a lil more speed for games but not as much battery but it is nice knowing I can throw a 1300 on there when I want to show off to the other SF guys that I know...but most of them are afraid to root so 1200 amazes them but they say I dont know anyone that runs 1300 like you do. I like when I go to the mall, when the woman is shopping, I go messing with the guys that hang around trying to get ppl to switch carriers. I pull out my phone and start messing with it and say when you can sell me a phone that does this. They usually say we cant have you hanging around here its not good for business :cool:

There is no right or wrong way. You can start at 1100 which should be fine and then try 1100uv and then move to 1200 and 1200uv till you hit the wall. Or start at 1200 since most can run it and then try the uv if it fails drop to 1100. I dont recommend starting at 1300 though make sure you can do 1200 first

well i played football till my senior year got a scholarship then blew out my knee so not to bad here myself:rolleyes: but married now so gotta downplay it and just be the mobile geek and showoff with phone :Dhahahaha:D

Does anyone else's phone handle the 1300 ul one well on DJ05? Every time I flash it and start running stuff my phone freezes. Looks like my phone's stuck at 1.2 ghz :(

Edit: I think the 1200 ul zip seems to be broken too lol

95% of us cannot run the 1300 stably. 1200 is more than 50-50 but if you cannot run the uv try the sv or try the 1100. There is very little real world difference between 1300Mhz and even 800Mhz on our phone. Thats why so many are using big undervolts at stock speed since the speed is enough and they pursue greater battery life instead of raw speed which barely shows up in most functions
 
Are the links working for you? Try to download it somewhere. I keep getting an error :/

Edit again: I'm going with the 1100 uv right now. Don't really see a difference inm performance at all. We'll see how the battery holds up for a few hours haha thanks saps

Personally for the last month or so i've mostly run stock speeds with huge undervolts and don't really miss oc at all...then again i don't play the gameloft games that saps does. :)
 
For the past few months I've been getting back into the old games I played when I was a kid. Bought GBCoid and SNESoid with ROM gripper :P

yeah there was a good 2-3 months on my x, inc and fascinate where i was really into nesoid...i played 2 seasons of tecmo superbowl :eek:

maybe ill load it back and up start playing some stuff again

The back backbreaker is Dungeon Defenders. 1200 vs 1000 there is a difference in fps when enough enemies are on screen. Lets admit thats supposed to be a tegra2 game. I hear the Evo and DX can barely play it at all with massive lag with lots o enemies. Its the one place the extra 20% makes a small bit of difference. Its also the game/app which really showcases our hardware, probably will be even better on 2.2

yeah the evo is more or less just a big incredible...and angry birds was only really playable for me on it when i was on aosp or oc on a sense rom...it was that laggy

the x was fine for games, but i never really put it to the test with anything that intensive...so i cant really comment on it beyond my limited use of nesoid and some baseball superstars

DD is a new universe trust me. It easily more than twice the triangles of NFS or Asphalt or probably any game out now. I can see why its recommended to have a tegra2
