Root Oops Force close heaven

Okay so I nandroided back to what I thought was a deodexed .596 and all was fine until I applied the CRT Circle battery animation. Now I'm in force close heaven and can't get into USB mode to transfer bouchigo's Deodexer to fix it. HALP! :(:o

Ok, that didn't work. Got into a bootloop, tried factory reset again. Then I pressed a combo of keys to get into bootloader and ended up in D2 Bootstrapper recovery so I'm trying to restore another Nandroid then I'll go from there hopefully and first use the deodexer file.

Does not sound good man. Hope it works out but you may just need to sbf. Not like it takes long anyway.

Yep, just SBF.d. Still wasn't working right with the Nandroid restore. Now to do the 2 step GB again, restore all my stuff with TB... :(

I'm convinced something about restoring a Nandroid mucks up if it's Deodexed or should I say if you try to install any mods/themes overtop after restoring. I had sort of a similiar result weeks back when restoring a different one. Oh well, sigh... That was a whole lota work today.

Yup, unfortunately this is old news. You don't have a card reader to read your memory card and transfer files to it?

Being somewhat of a cat skinner id like to toss out some other ideas for those who dont have access to their SD cards for whatever reason. If you have a camera that uses micro SD you can transfer files via the camera. Or, if you have an old cell phone with the same card you can plug in and transfer using the phone as a SD card reader. If you have a regular SD card camera you can always use an adapter to load files on the micro card.

Excellent tip!!!
