I'm in north NJ. no update yet. Of Course today was the first time my phone froze up on me, so now I do care about this update. I'm running 1.16.605.1. How come some of you are on 1.17.605? Whats the difference?

Nothing really, fixes the freezing problem. Once you get the update you should be on that too.

Did the OTA and now my phone is f-ed up. I have no service and everything is force-closing. I tried a battery pull but that did not help. I guess I will try a hard reset and if that doesnt work then I will have to go to the Verizon store. Not happy as I wasnt having any problems before this

My wife's phone is doing the same thing.

Thinking about not installing the update. It is ready to go on my phone, but I don't want to lose Gvoice compatibility.

Now my phone gets no service sometimes, freezes up, and lags a ton... hoping resetting it will help.... wtf HTC/Verizon?

Soft reset did not work, phone wont even let me call verizon... this is rediculous... I have a brick.

Hard reset seems to have fixed my problems but I have to go and redo everything to have it the way I want it on my phone...

updated for a problem I didn't have... now I am stuck with all the regular problems i.e. youtube, the character counter on sms, and photo's resizing too small in Mms... and now a new problem, the HTC weather app can't find data... thanks verizon.

After each reset (simple shutdown and power up) Google voice force closes. But you can succeesfully use it without any problems. Still don't know why gmail app doesn't launch anymore...anyone else that can confirm the gmail app's death?

Got it last night - ROCK SOLID and BTW the fc gvoice on reboot was a problem with GV v.3 has nothing to do with uppdate.

Cool. All of her d/ls from the Market are saved under her gmail acct. But you do have to go back and d/l them. But at least you have a list.

No probs with the upgrade which arrived this morning here in Coarsegold, CA.
Everything is working without any probs. including YouTube-which I don't really access but decided to check out because of all the complaints.
