Accessories Otterbox Case

Ordered mine Saturday, shipped out today, really looking forward to getting it! It should be here this week and can't wait. I've had two otterbox cases previously and can't wait to get this one.

Got mine today. Took longer than I expected, 10 days. I put on the screen protector and it seems fine so far. The box itself is great. I am going to love this thing.

Worth the cost...just superb. Best by far. Makes the Eris look even more stylish and has a great feel to it.

Got my Otterbox. The case is beautiful and perfect. The "bulk" makes it the perfect size, and it makes me feel a lot more comfortable about carrying the phone around.

The screen protector made me nervous at first because I didn't want to lose the wonderful slickness of the screen. But the I actually like it better with the protector on because when your thumb is sweaty it doesn't make the screen stick. I also no longer feel the need to wipe the screen every time I use it.

Worth every penny.

Got mine today as well and with every otterbox product I've ever had I'm extremely happy. I will admit however that the defender cases that I had for my world edition blackberry and then the curve made them huge and for a guy who likes to carry his phone around in his pocket (not a belt clip kinda guy) they were WAY too bulky. However like everyone else who has gotten theirs has mentioned that I actually like the size that it adds to the phone. I like my phone to have just the right amount of "Bulk" to it and not too heavy but not too light like it's made cheaply. I understand that before we die we'll probably have little microchips connected to our brain that just sends the information into our cranium without us even knowing we're carrying anything around (I know I'm a nerd) but I think that this case added the perfect size and weight to the phone. It feels like it's actually a piece of the phone and not just "some case". I do have one thing that I was reminded of the second I put it on and got about 2-3 calls back to back, when I pulled it away from my face it of course had oil residue on the screen, that's when I was reminded of why I always got irritated by cases, I can't just wipe it off on my pant leg, I have to actually take my microfiber clothe and wipe it (I know minor but still time consuming, especially if anyone ask to use your phone, you don't want to hand it to them with grease all over the screen lol). Other than that, I think this case will stay on my phone, this is my baby (the phone) and the thought of dropping it (which I'm prone to do) and leaving any type of imperfections in it scare the tar outta me so the case and all the good things and one minor bad thing will stay on it for a long, long time...

Now that I have had my Commuter for a few days I can add some more info to my original post. Unfortunately I have noticed that the screen protector collects a lot more dust than the unprotected screen. Doesn't bother me that much but it might bother others. I know I can just take it off but the protection factor out weighs the dust collection. Also the silicone sleeve collects a lot of dust. I am going to assume this will pass as it becomes broken in.

PS-I carry the phone in my pocket only.

Here's my review on it, after using it for a few weeks.

This case is great, it adds a little bulk, but nothing too bulky, and for my large hands it does feel better in my hand. The plastic is a little slippery at first, but with use it does seem to get 'grippier' I'm guessing that the slickness gets worn off.

The silicone does collect dust. I can't speak for the on screen protector since i'm using a Zagg shield. But my phone definitely feels protected, and it's survived a few drops already without any incident!

No scratches on the case, and no damage to the phone.

Love this case!

I liked it at first, but now wity the screen protector and after a week or so it is the first case I have kept on my phone longer than 24 hours. I hate dust collecting cases and I actually don't mind this one at all. Occasionally I will quickly blow the dust, but that is only if I see large specs.

Cool seen a really nice looking Hero case even protects the buttons and such. Definately a contender imo.

that is a perfect looking case/skin, finally a cell phone case manufacturer gets the design part of it, not like all the other r e t a r d s (otterbox, seido, all silicone cases to date, body glove). unfortunately tho it is for the GSM Hero.

Well I just got rid of the Hero within the 30 day window and broke down and got the Apple.

I really liked the phone but the battery life was a deal breaker for me.

I will have a Hero Otterbox case and unopened Mugen Hero Battery for sale when I return home.
PM me if interested.

I'll say it again, not sure what people are doing that kills the battery so quick. I am a heavy user, sometimes as much as 3.5-4 hours talk time, bluetooth on 24/7, e-mail every 30 minutes, texts, internet, and it has never run down before 5:30pm, running off charger since 8am. Lighter days I make it to 10pm or later.

Pretty much same for me. I charge my phone at night so it comes off of the charger when I leave at 6:00am, by 6:30-7:00 I get the low battery warning. I just switch the battery and I'm good until I go to sleep later that night. I am running the Andida 2000mAh and the stock 1500mAh batteries.

I will ship you 5 meeeeeelion dollars if you can sustain enough improvement in battery life on your iphone to justify switching (not to mention cost of att).

I'm so glad I went from iphone to hero
